Am sending this on so all will know. Our deepest sympathies to Ron and the family.

I just wanted to let folks know that my dad died yesterday afternoon.
A lot of you know about his health problems and the trouble we had in
getting him admitted to the VA Nursing Home, so I just wanted to fill y'all in.

Thanks to all of you who posted and sent e-mail messages. It was a relief to see him go, after visiting with him the Sunday prior to his death. Lying in a bed in a comatose state, unable to eat or drink and not even being able to swallow was worse than death. |

RT. Losing your Dad is like losing a limb. You'll go on but not the same as before. You'll miss him but you'll adapt. I lost my Dad a few years ago and think of him every day. Alot of us have... You have my condolences. |
