I just received a Life Members Knife in the mail along with a t-shirt and a pair of binock's. I looked over the knife and saw that it is beautifull. Then I saw on the tang that it was made in CHINA. The T-shirt was made in Honduras and the Binock's were also made in CHINA. Nothing was made in the good old USA. I belong to the Nort AMERICAN Hunting Club and I was proud of that fact for over 27 years, not any more. I would think that with the economy in this country this club would do all it could to see that Americans had a job and a way to make a living and not buy merchandise from a country that would still like to see us buried. I am sure that there are knife co. that can produce the same quality and if not better quality merchandise then this right here in our own country. Needless to say I will be returning the knife to the club headquarters.

Good for you the only thing I have received is a 3rd package to become a Trophy Life Member. Not going to happen anytime soon with the way the Club is going even if they did get Tom to be the talking head now! Try working your way through the product testing stages what a mess. |

Do you remember the hulllabaloo a few years ago about the Border Patrol uni's sewn in Mexico and more recently, the US Olympic uniforms were made in China. There was a thing on one of the news channels where they talked about China's investment in Africa---Where do you think China gets all of this money to invest, a lot of it comes from us because we want "cheap" before jobs. |

Thats just like the lifer leather jacket. I haven't seen anybody writing about it. It's made in China too. I just can't beleive that anybody in this country gets anything from there after all the grief they have given us. Then for our country to borrow money from them. Did they ever pay us back from helping them during WW ll ? |

I won a knife and cooler at a Ducks Unlimited Banquet a couple weeks ago, both made in China. |

Those Chinese Buck knives are gradually going away, since they are shifting all of their production back to Post Falls, Idaho. Buckmasters now has USA made Buck knives exclusively, and the NWTF has signed a contract with Buck to go that route, as well. My DU knife that I won about 8 years ago, is stamped Duck Commander and made in PRC on the tang, also. The only NRA knives I have are all USA built Buck knives. What's really a slap in the face, is that Case has signed a contract with a Chinese manufacturer to start making a line of Case knives in China! BTW, the belt buckles along with the leather coat, also have made in China on them. |
