So sorry to hear this. I was lucky enough to have my back surgery done in April, before the season opened in August, several years ago. I just used my .308 that year and my Beretta 12 ga., to cut down on recoil.

Sure hate to hear that, Jeff. Hope the surgery goes well and God blesses you.
I saw Doc this AM and he said I was doing real well. I can now drive for short distances.
If recovery continues I'll be in woods the first of October.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Man, I hope all you guys get back out there! I read about all of your issues and dealing with my bp and renal arterial stent seems like a walk in the park.

Good luck to you all!

Sorry to hear about the up coming surgery. I hope everything turns out good for you . Don’t try and rush
anything along, and follow that Doctors advice. I remember my dad didn’t listen to his Doctor, and told everybody that he was feeling great, and over did things. It ended up taking twice as long to heal, and he had to start therapy all over again.

Take cshep's advice I know a guy who didn't listen to the doc. Now when he walks all he can see is his feet.

Best of luck to you and praying for a speedy recovery! Listen to your body during recovery and the doctor as well! I didn't and told everyone I was fine, only to need more surgery and almost another year out of action.
