Just got home from PT therapist says we've gone as far as we can. So I'll just keep up the home exercise regimine. Hope I'm ready come bow season. |

Oh by the way kawisawki makes one scooter that only goes 35 mph .That will keep you out of truble!!!!!!maybe as you crashed the wheel chair .Keep going Bill and have fun . |

HEY GUYS! Just got back from the VA my primary care MD made appointments for me with prosthetics and PT. I will soon have the alterations to my shoes to even out my legs instead of walking like a penguin I'll soon walk normally. This will reduce the pain I have. BUT!!! at PT they set me up with a 4wheel walker with a seat. I realized as I was using it to leave the hospital this is the thing that is going to make it possible to get my legs in shape with the goal of getting into that treestand come fall. I could kiss her!!! |

The Orthotics guy called yesterday. My shoe is ready!!!!! Can pick up anytime. I'd go monday but unexpected family loss will prevent that. My Aunt and her daughters were at the slots when she had a massive stroke. Seems once you get to my age most family gatherings are funerals. SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Got my shoe. WHAT a difference. I don't wooble like a weeble and it takes the pressure off my right hip. A lot less painful walking.
Dummy me tripped on my cane leaving the church after the funeral landed on my right side hurt like the dickens.Fortunately a couple of my cousins were able to lift me to my feet as lying On the floor I can't get myself up unless there's something nearby to pull myself up. |
