Hi folks;

I just bought an Acorn LTL 5210MM trail cam to monitor my hunting area for next deer season. I am totally wet behind the ears with useing these things and humbly request any assistance anyone can render in the matter. My hunting area is 150 miles away, and I got this so I can monitor it through my email/cellphone useing the MMS feature. I'm stuck on the GSM card thing and need input on providers/costs for carriers in my (Wisconsin) area. If anyone (Locally) has this same camera, and has successfully set it up as I intend to, I would greatly appreciate any help you may be willing to offer. Thank you in advance.

I could try and help you out. I handle the cell phones at my work and have a working knowledge of cell providers. What would be the best way to contact you?

I can be reached at the number I sent to you in a PM yesterday. With that I add this; Since my post, I have found that no phone carriers know a damn thing about working with these, and less support it. I ended up getting an AT&T card, and it is working in my back yard, but sends crappy interrupted pictures. (But they turn out nice on the SMS card.) Not to mention that AT&T does not provide (pre-paid) service in the zip that my camera will be sending from. (Adams county) NO OCVERAGE! Bummer. I also have a (OLd Army Commo Buddy) that works for telecommunications out in Washington State. When I threw the quagemire at him, he, and his peers even got lost. Goes to show that all the hype of how great the the providers boast is just that. Hype.
