O.K. Wisconsinites !!  Just got the info---Mayor Barrett, Now trying to unseat Gov Walker is totally against Guns---Wants to ban them, And is totally against hunting----Check it out if you wish _______Another liberal Milwaukee Dem !!!!____Like I said before, The Northern 2/3  of Wisconsin should cedede from the state of Madison, Milwaukee and leave then to themselves---SO VOTE FOR WALKER____The Outdoorsperson friend___

I will of course vote for Walker, but I fear the unions will have this election rigged. I need to get my ccp before the election!

The unions backed the wrong canidate to start off with and now in a last ditch effort they decided to back Barret what fools. Just goes to show how out of touch they are with there own members that they can't even get them to all vote for the person they were backing. I just read the news tonight and it said a poll on Wednesday had Walker up by 5 points. I voted for Walker the first time and I will vote for him again. As far as gun contol goes.....let them come and try to get them..... click..... click!

In 1991 as a state senator, Barrett voted for the biggest increase in Wisconsin history to hike taxes an additional $856 million.

In 1993 as a congressman, Barrett voted for the largest tax increase in federal history to hike taxes by $241 billion.

In congress, Barrett voted against almost every effort to relieve taxes, including efforts to reduce and repeal the marriage penalty and death tax.

Barrett has raised tax and fees in EVERY budget he’s presented since being elected mayor, including this year’s 4.4% hike to the property tax levy.

“Scott Walker has earned the NRA-PVF endorsement for his unwavering pro-gun record throughout his political career,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. “His commitment to preserving our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage makes Scott Walker the clear choice for Wisconsin gun owners.”

Walker strongly supports the right-to-carry in Wisconsin and has vowed to sign a “shall issue” bill into law. He supported an amendment to the Wisconsin state constitution that would guarantee the individual right to keep and bear arms and efforts to ensure uniformity in state gun laws and prevent a patchwork of confusing local ordinances and regulations across the state. Walker also voted for a state constitutional amendment to protect the right to hunt and fish. Because of his consistent support for individual gun ownership rights, Scott Walker has earned an “A” rating from the NRA-PVF.

In contrast, Walker's opponent, Tom Barrett, has earned an “F” rating from the NRA-PVF for his long history of anti-gun activism and his lengthy anti-gun record as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Barrett has worked closely with anti-gun New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg as a member of the anti-gun front group “Mayors Against Illegal Guns.” He opposes right-to-carry in Wisconsin and supports gun bans and state gun registration. Barrett also supports legislation that would regulate gun shows out of business.

Barrett opposed Right-to-Carry in Wisconsin and believes Wisconsinites are less trustworthy than the residents of 49 other states.
Barrett supported repealing the law which protects gun owners from the imposition of local gun control laws.
He supported state gun registration and would allow public disclosure of gun registry information.
Barrett supported legislation that would regulate gun shows out of business.

"Voters in Wisconsin value their freedom, and they can count on Scott Walker to fight for them,” Cox continued. “His strong dedication to freedom means that gun owners can count on Scott Walker to continue to support their right to hunt and to keep and bear arms.
