And to answer your first insulting inquire they don’t make pointy hats to fit this cranium. Air would leak out the ears but matter expands making the cranium larger. And for the pointy shoes when I can find pointy foot ware to fit these feet (and it is true what they say about a man with big feet) they are not shoes they are BOOTS. And yes I have bronco busted, cleaned stalls, I have ridden a fence line, and taught city slicker how not to get killed on a freaking horse.
And by the way dude you don’t have to use that old toxic board wax any more, you should think about switching to some less aromatic I think the fumes are getting to ya. And for god’s sake just manage it don’t test um. |

Only problem that I know of is that you are the first one to get "insulted" by failing to find the humor. I suggest that you go to another thread that will not be throwing about bits of humor and dry wit. I sure hope you didn't think that the "Wyoming goat herder" was aimed at you! Nawww you couldn't have. You don't live in Wyoming, Greg does!! Your comments regarding, "old toxic board wax", has myself and some of the others on this thread wondering what you are getting at! I've never been in any discussions with you on any other threads, so I have no idea who you are, nor have I any opinion of you, but what you are saying here may be taken in ways you may not want or meant. |

So, to make a long story short, I brought them home and froze the whole sack full.
PS Who is coming to camp this year?

Many posts later and I still have no clue as to what the weather is like in DC. You guys seem to get off on these random threads and forget why we are here. <!--graemlin::)-->
I volunteer for the cook position at the next camp. I think Pops should be in charge of keeping the stoves going. On second thought that might not be a good idea since he seems to prefer shivering to lighting a fire. We need to assign him a task before he offers to bring the biscuit mix again. ANY IDEAS. <!--graemlin::confused:--> |

After the oath was completed all new board members sat down witch resulted in a 911 call witch placed the whole board in the hospital. S o we had to elect an emergency board to take their place. And I hope you see where this is going. This Board also ended up in the hospital. So we immediately voted to ban the hats. So far the shoes have been no problem, but they are a help a tournaments when someone accidentally shoots an arrow up in a tree. Makes climbing a breeze. |

Then it would be simple to throw the beer in the panniers, climb on old nag and ride 400 miles home. He would not have had a clue. Later I could have let him help drink his own beer and he would have praised me as a generous fella. <!--graemlin::rolleyes:--> |

She would return to the nearest familiar area which would be Pops pasture. They would track her there and the rest of us would be free to plan the next escapade. As for familiar, we are very familiar. She knows my assumed name and the location of someones line shack in Devil`s Canyon. |

Don't know the guy personally. I was thinking though that if he found those traps and decided to keep them he may want to change his name when he used them. Those little feline critters are pretty tough on an old guy out of shape like he is. Maybe he should change his name from Dallas to Balls. |

Saving his mail, keeping all the traps safe under some rocks, making sure his cats were taken care of... Funny thing, never heard of a guy naming ALL his cats "Bob." |

No need to ruin the party though I am up for umbrellie drinks. |

She smelled about like the barmaid Greg took to hunting camp. Its no wonder he sent her down to Griz Gulch for water!

I hardly beleive such mush. I think he simply fell in the corral and rolled around a might while trying to get up. He went in the house to wash up only to find the water froze. He might be brown until spring. Maybe that is why he wants to come visit!!! |

Well, with the way this BB is these days, I can see very little reason to hang around much. There seems to be very few of you old timers around!

Where is the head Honcho of this outfit, or should I ask who? Or was there ever one? It seems there were many wranglers in the past, are they still out riding the range trying to catch the devils herd?

IF............you make it to the top first! The sight of ATV pieces covering the ground should set off some kind of an alarm in ones noodle, IF, he cherishes his machine or life. I have found a few goodies and ATV tools among the scattered parts. Where is that famous hill climber with his half way up story?

A rocking chair sounds good to me! As long as they can strap a rifle to my arms and load me, the chair, and my gun, into the back of a of a pick-up truck! Good seein ya guys back in here once in awhile! Don't visit this place near as often as I once did. Dean H2O Elkaholic |

Hey Water Wapiti! Good to see you too! Ain't nuttin wrong with rockin chairs, except for some of us it takes too much energy to make em work. Some of us are feeling more like "sprung" chickens, than the other kind. Right POPS? |

Well, spring is comming up soon, so maybe this year will see a banner hatch of "Spring" chickens, in your neck of the woods, POPS! .....Water Wapiti! Don't know any of "those" kinda guys, that are willing to push you up the hill! Know of several that would generally oblige to help "kicking" anybody down the hill!

Yep, met them. Think I'm still rolling! But I'll get up and knock them down the hill. Just let me catch my breath... Just as soon as I can get up, I'm going to knock em all for a loop. Still breathing hard, just give me a minute! Never mind, think I'll go wet a line or maybe scout some Elk. Dean H2O |

Spring, sprang, sprung. Could it just be us getting a bit older that makes critters a little bit faster and the places they hide a little rougher? Nah... I can still chase after a deer or pack bait up a mountain. I just enjoy the recuperating from it a little more! |

I doubt you would be as eager to chase the bucks or pack bait up hill once the bridle and saddle were removed. |

I have been looking for a long handled shovel with a very small spade that can be used as a crutch, cane, or pole vault for creek crossings. No luck. Not sure what it will be used for most.....................

You just keep digging those long neck Washington clams with that super small lady shovel and let us bear hunters worry about what ever it is we worry about. Is she really talking about a shovel or an early man spear? |

POPS Seein ya brought up Washington and their clams. I'll be driving right by you and where I think Nick is? on my way up to the Washington NAHC GT. Hope to spend Friday June 24th and Saturday up there. Know you, Nick, and any other members would be welcome along with family and friends. I'll be headed back to Wyoming with 3 of my grandchildren on Monday. The info about the GT is posted on the Washington Forum. Would be great if you and others could be there, tell Nick he can bring the limes, I'll cover the rest. Dean H2O |
