How do you think the fires will affect the Elk season. I bow hunt so I'll be out there in about 3 weeks

It will effect them around the burn because theres nothing for them to eat. Won't be until next spring. The areas around the burn will probably be better than normal. I remember a burn on 97 near Hwy 2 that they opened for a hundred doe, some twenty years ago or so.

A lot less places for them to hide now that the fire has gone on. Same with the fire in brewster. These guys are getting some shade on my hunting property near there.
