While I am at no way trying to promote this event it is one of the best shoots of the year. Don't miss out on this one to get yourself all set up for shooting broadheads. You have a bunch of 3D targets and some are so hidden that you'll walk past it before you see it. You'll never have the opportunity to shoot so many broadheads before hunting season. This is the one to get you ready. On a side note, these are a great group of people and are set up for the whole family. Including a cook shack for meals and Port A Potty's a plenty. www.cedarriverbowmen.net Hope to see some of you Washington Archers there. Hunt quiet, Hunt hard, Eat well!

Is this something they do every year? Seeing as how I won't be up there until season has started and this event has passed, it may be something I can do next year. |

Yes, this shoot is every year. They have the "Bownanza" the last weekend of July and the "Bad to the Bone" broadhead shoot the second weekend of August. The "Bownanza" was extreme this year. Lost a lot of arrows and most of the shots averaged 50 yards and no rangefinders allowed. It was one of the best events I have ever been too. It really made me stretch out there and see where I need improving. It also let me know that after about 40 yards, most archers are equal. Family friendly with lots of kids around and lots of door prizes.
