Anyone hunting Cedars of Lebanon (middle Tn)?  Scouted some a few days ago and saw lots of red trail markers.  Anyone taken a large buck/rack there?  I've only seen small deer there ( during turkey season).   2 hour drive to our hunting lease so may bow hunt a few 1/2 days at Cedars because it's only 15-20 min drive.

Aint been on Cedars of Lebanon in almost 50 years and the last time was to park and make out with a two legged dear....

Used to shoot behind it in an old sinkhole but have not been there at all in nearly 20 yrs. I have heard several people talk about hunting there and I have seen deer there but I have never seen anything big enough to take a 2nd glance at, nor heard anyone brag about any monster bucks coming from it. It is a shallow rocky soil area with little in the way of large food plots so the deer there are forced to do a lot of browsing. I never got the sense that it really held a lot of deer based on the food supply.

Well, I'll give it a try this Sat morning. Then off to our main woods near Natcez Trace to hunt Monday & Tuesday.
