I'll be out there Saturday too man. All this snow on the ground makes so much easier to spot deer, I can't wait. I decided to take the crossbow out so I can bundle up a little more to stay warm. They are calling for snow showers starting Saturday morning, but I am going to try to stay in my stand all day to maximize my chances.

I took advantage of the down time between seasons to scout out a new area of the woods I have been hunting, and I kicked up a nice sized buck with a BUNCH of tines on his right side. Couldn't see what he was sporting on the left side, but he is definitely my number one priority for the rest of the season.

Good luck to you, Huntnrich, and anyone else going out. Hopefully we'll have some pics to post...

Late season I go with flint lock , so far Wed. saw two sky lined so no shot and today saw two a tad out of range , 1st was Big Big and made the second average sized look smaller than it was . I'll be there Sat. too , sounds like light snow compared to Wed.(that was alot of fun) Good Luck Guys !
