Well NY bowseason has started and wondering how the luck is going this year ? Went out today to put out a couple cams and check stands. Way to warm for any deer movement. Had a couple snort and blows but didnt see what were. See a couple nice pics already up of this years deer.

 

Nothing yet. Been still hunting a lot because of the rain. Played "peek-a-boo" with a doe Tues evening. Wasn't in bow range, kinda early for that anyway. Have a decent 6 point running my ridge behind the house. Still early, plenty of time to "shop!"

Was up for opener and day after. Seen turkeys but deer were not moving by me. Did see a big 8 point in a field in middle of day.

Spike within an hour of opener. Went to Beaver Meadow forest to get a doe and only saw a buck! That's my luck when shooting a buck early?
