I will be Mule deer hunting this year and I shoot a Barnes Vortex 168gr out of my Sako Tikka .308. I don't have anymore rounds and the Sporting Goods Store ran out so I bought a box of Hornady SST 165gr. in .308. How good is this bullet and will I have to adjust a lot on my scope when I sight in my rifle for this ammo?


Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

 

 

I'm sure its too late now but i always shot any new bullet I get before I hunt with it. The SST should be fine. I have plenty of buddies who swear by it. Hope your hunt went well.
