My brother in law and I are coming out from wisconsin to try the rifle deer season in Pine Ridge Unit. I was wondering if anyone has any good pointers on where to look for some nice muleys? I am looking for areas where most may not be. We are not opposed one bit to hiking in a few miles either.

Not real sure anymore but I grew up out there and always did......ok. Never got anything huge. THere are a lot of roads if my memory serves me and a LOT of hunter pressure. Also may want to get ahold of someone local as I know they had a BOATLOAD of fires there this year. Sorry can't be more help than that.
