Maybe that's a misnomer, because it obviously implies that used to care.

I believe it's called Cabin Fever. Nice as the winter has been, it's still February!

Yep, just visiting. Got Snow Bird friends who invite us down every year for a bit of R&R. After five days of putting up with the crowds this Yooper is always happy to point the compass north.
Maybe some day will spend a month or so in dixie but need to find just the right place, some place that is laid back, not far from some fair to good surf fishing and plenty of fresh seafood vendors in the area. The Florida panhandle or the Texas coast around Port Aransas just might be in my future.

It took a bit longer this year to get cabin fever but with 25" of snow still on the ground UP here and only one 40+ degree temperature forecast in the next ten days I think it will be a while before the robins get back.
The deer seem to be holding their own so far but the fawns are starting to get that fuzzy look in the face and starting to act quite tame, ie. not enough energy to make running practical unless really pushed. If winter does not break soon so deer will be in real trouble. The turkeys seem to be doing better than the deer but that is because of all the feeding being done.
I think I need to go back to Florida for a while..............so maybe I will!
