LOOKING TO GET MEMBERS  TO GET TOGETHER AT PATOKA LAKE FOR A POSSIBLE TURKEY HUNT AND PLAN A DEER HUNT THIS YEAR! mY HEALTH IS GETTING MUCH BETTER AND READY TO DO A DEER CAMP WITH REGINAL MEMBERS OF CLUB! aNYONE INTERESTED PLEASE RESPOND TO POST. mE AND MY SON WOULD MAKE TWO i WAS HOPEING FOR AT LEAST FOUR TO SIX MORE PEOPLE WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN SUCH A HUNT.sTARTING THIS NOW SO WE HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO GET THIS ARRANGED. Come on hunting brothers lets get cracking on this. Would be a great time and great time to meet fellow club members and maybe get together and organize some of our own events.If nothing else lets get together and do some hunting and as stated before youth are welcome,nothing better than passing on the art of the outdoors to our young...better than any video game or bad influences they might be around...the outdoors is a perfect place to give a troubled child a new outlook on life!So come on guys lets get something going,I know its early but it will take time to get all the peticulars worked out!! Please someone anyone more input is most welcome!

I will be down that way tukey hunting this spring and would meet up with you for a visit. Let me know when you are planning to do this.

The turkey hunt will probably just end up being me and my son unless we get more responses by then.I will get back to you on the dates.You will have to let me know what week you are hunting that area.

I know i will be down that way the first weekend of turkey season.

For me turkey season is out. I will be there for deer season! Chris keep me updated, dates, times, ect. Would like to get down there before to see the area and get familiar with the surroundings and hopefully catch up with you and get your input. I was in Indy. the past two days( work) and got a map, if you will, of Patoka Lake. Did not show much.

working on cabin prices now...well I should say my wife is taking care of it for me...will post prices for cabins and after we get a few people we can work out the food menu and figure out who can bring what so its equal for all of us

Is anyone still planning on getting together for this hunt or has it already happened? I would like to meet up with some regional hunters, particularly bow, but I am not at ALL opposed to gun hunters.  If anyone is still interested please let me know.  Optimally, the rut is getting ready to start and this would be the best time for deer.  I am a huge proponent for a social hunt as well, i.e. rabbit, game bird, etc.

Looks like this is a little late, but I would also love to meet some good folk from the region and hunt. I'm also a bow hunter but have a 30-06 as well.
