Well lets see what the luck of the draw gets me this year I'm in for Colorado Elk and Mule Deer. And just put in for my white tail tags today  back to hunting state land in Illinois again recieved a letter from the lady I was renting property and house in pope county she gifted the house to here daughter so that place is gone. was a good 3 year run while it lasted.

Good news is that I drew Bull Elk And Buck Mule Deer tags in colorado. Bad news is that me and my son Tom got turned down for Deer tags in Illinois. I am going to see if I can find a place to hunt in Illinois to apply for the second drawing.

Hey Bill, sorry to hear of your loss in pike cty, however I saw an ad for a lease in adams if your interested,I can't take advantage simply due to the fact i am to far north to make it worth while.

Must have been all those out of state guys applying for tags...

Good one Dave I don't care if out of state people get tags all hunters always dream of going some where to hunt I am sure Illinois is on top of a lot of hunters lists

Ok I applied for Pope county tag in the 2nd draw will hunt the shawnee by myself my son does not want to go see if I get lucky

Got both firearm tags as well as a muzzle loader only tag. Will be elk hunting this fall so don't think I'll bow hunt deer this year.
