Last year's archery hunt was either sex, now bull only. Just curious about it, only seen one cow last year anyway.

where you hunting at? numbers are up and stable pretty much across the state pm me and ill try and hep ya out.

Haven't figured out pm I guess, everytime I type in members name it says not found, oh well. I hunt unit 3 was just curious if hunt is determined by pop. or a rotation where they go between either sex and antlered.

yeah i dont know that country that high up north, but from what ive heard wolfs indeed, same prob here but elk seem to be doin allright, just being alot more cautious

I got to go in in next couple weeks to exchange receipts for elk and deer tags, will ask, liked having the option being newer to the area and new to elk hunting.

Have not hunted ID for Elk in years (too many to even think of) but I hear that if our group of six that used to hunt together were to do a 3 or 4 day hunt on our own in the Lochsa before our drop camp in Selswy-Bitterroot Wildernes, we would not be happy campers....
