i lucked out and drew on the super tag for elk this year, being a life res of idaho i know certain areas to find a trophy bull but with this tag in hand im gonna be very picky. any help would rock,  dimond creek, big desert, snake river, and tex creek zones i know very well.... what are some other options in the state for a 350+bull??? pm me if you would like, thanks guys and good luck

congrats on the tag you lucky dog big bulls in unit 45 but a lot of it is private land, would also look at 54 goose creek.good luck

thanks man! its hard to get help on some of these forums, so appreciate it! i did talk to a bio from 54 and told me thats my best option, and the owyhee area for monster hogs so its good to hear that confirmed

Great job on that draw! I would buy a wolf tag to take with me as well. Hogs in the Owyhees? When did this happen?

ha, sorry cougar, when i say hog i mean really large antlered bull elk. and yeah i have 2 wolf tags, and an itchy finger

You're fine horndog. I was talking to my brother the other day and he told me DFG trapped some hogs down near Bruneau. Good luck on your wolf tags, but more importantly, your Elk Tag! I was told up near French Creek and around Sage Hen still have healthy Elk numbers.
