Thinking of a DIY in2013 gun hunt on National Forest and /or BLM for elk.Any one have been in this area and can shed some info?

Do what I did call the hunt planners (303) 291-7526 get some BLM maps and study them. The Hunt planners number is run by Colorado Devision of Wildlife also there is a lot of information on Colorado Division of Wildlife website I recomend looking at this. get very detailed maps so you can look at access roads trails ECT.
