Get a five gallon bucket and fill it alomst full with corn then add one packet of baker's yeast and a six pack of the cheapest beer you can find. Be sure and put a tight sealing lid and let it sit for a couple of days. I then locate the best place for my treestand and pour a pile of corn out on the ground. I then hang the bucket high enough off the ground that the hogs acan't get it and using a small drill bit I drill a very small hole in the bottom so the nasty liquid can drip out. If there are hogs anywhere in the area they will find the corn and the bucket and will hang around long enough for you to kill a couple. This is just one of many recipes that folks use and is the one that has worked best for me over the years. You will need to get there extra early and after getting setup be prepared to sit in your stand ALL day and into the late evening. Please come back and let us know how well this worked for you if you don't mind.

Where do you get the pig likkor from? Ive never heard of it. Ive always used cracked corn. Put it in a bucket
And let it set for five to six days until its ripe. You can also use diesel fuel or milk.

I use the cheapest fruit punch mix I can find. Mix it with corn and broadcast it. Works evertime! Sometimes, if the Hogs are coming out at night (full moon or over hunted) I dig a ditch about 1-3 feet down and maybe a foot wide and it will make it a little harder for the hogs to get to it and causes a bottle neck and keep them there a little longer than just broadcasting. Good Hunting!

Yep ! I have seen others add Kool Aid, yeast, milk etc etc etc but never diesel fuel. With the recipe I gave you I know it works and works very well as we have used it here my whole life. The biggest thing with this is the smell after sitting in the sealed bucket as it gets nasty but the nastier the better the hogs like it and be sure to put it upwind of your stand or gorund blind, Hogs have rather poor eyesight but they makeup for this by having great hearing and the unbelieveable ability to sent things that other animals can't. Remember that they are used by truffle hunters as they can scent the truffles even when buried and growing underground. Thier eyesight is limited to very close surroundings but as noted it is their hearing ( those really big ears ) and their noses that will bust you the fastest.

PS: I should have included that they are very dangerous and will charge without provocation and can do horribel damage with their tusks and if you shoudl fall down while trying to get out of their way they can and will kill and eat you. Even more so than goats a hog will eat literally eat anything they can find. They will even eat their own dead.

When I told you about the cracked corn with milk, diesel fuel, etc. I forgot to mention that you can also use cheap beer. Just keep a lid on the bucket for atleast a week. I myself have harvested some big hogs with these techniques. The diesel fuel in the corn mix helps their coats.
