During this past deer season, I hunted out on private property in munson Florida, for deer, while my buddie had trail cam's set up, it showed a lot of does but once I hunted five times in the same spot using a ground blind the only thing I saw was turkeys. Any sugggestions?

The good news is that the ground blind is hiding your profile and movements from the turkeys.  The ground blind could also be why you are not seeing deer.  If you can set a blind up several weeks or a couple of months before season the deer ignore it.  But if it is a recent addition to an area deer can be spooked by it.

I set my ground blinds up at least a month before the season opens(that's also when I recover my tree stands and tower blinds if they need new material), I usually leave 'em up until turkey season is over. I've even left a few up year 'round for hunting 'yotes out of.

I leave all my stands in the woods, and like Rt stated, repairs will take place way before I have to use them. If I want a ground blind in an emergency, I'll just take my machete and make a "good' temp. blind with natural growth. Shot plenty of deer sitting on a 5-gal. bucket inside one of them. Ask Travis.

That's a nice place of our state.

Yep, if you do set up during season, brush the blind in. The blind hides you, you gotta hide the blind. As said, deer don't like the new addition...
