Atfer a bad start to the season, were i had two cameras and a tree stand stolen I decided to stick with it. On Saturday morning about 8:30 I hit the grunt call and here he came. He went behind me at about 20yds. I had to lean around the tree to get the shot. The shot placement wasn't ideal but it got the job done. I don't know if leaning around the tree got my anchor points off or I just choked, but that's what bow hunting is all about. Got to love it.

Congratulations. Gotta practice shooting anything from bizarre positions. Them brown b*stards never give you the shot you expect...

Thanks everybody, sms064 I actually live in Falls Mills VA. I work in the mines in McDowell Co. where I hunt company property. I've hunted it the past 4 years and managed to take 2 decent bucks. I've seen some absolute gaints down there it's addictive once you see one you have to keep going back and try your luck at one.
