130lb doe, killed yesterday afternoon with the T?C Encore .308.  Dropped her in her tracks at 100 yards with a neck shot.  She was an old dry nanny, but definitely already in heat.  I could smell her 20 yards before I got to her, and she had a young buck running her all over the place about 45 minutes before I killed her.
Sorry about the date and time.......the damn camera's batteries died again and the camera reverts to the manufacturers preset date and time every time the batteries die..........which is every time I go to use the damn thing!!!!!!!!!!!!

That particular buck will have to wait a year or two. I've got 4 or 5 that are much better and they're all on the hit list!

Steve, last years deer, totaled 7. I gave two away and put 5 in the freezer. We were totally out of cubed steak by the end of June, and are down to the last few pounds of hamburger right now. It takes at least 5 or 6 just to make it from the end of one season to the beginning of the next, since Travis and I basically live off of venison.

Yep, I've found some time here and there after work and this last time my weekend space jump rental business had me going right by my hunting spot so I just went and hunting until that was over and went and picked it up afterwards. After EDH changed to it's new site I lost the link and never thought to ask someone here for it. If you could PM it to me that would be great. My family's doing good my little boy is creeping up on 2 and I'm enjoying every minute of him I can. How about you?
