Is there anyone in the Dane county Wisconsin area that is looking for someone to get after coyotes with? I'm new to the area and new to preditor hunting

Should I go back ? Today i checked out a new hunting location for deer and coyotes and saw lots of fox coyote and possible bobcat tracks along with two obvious kill sites would it be worth while to go back and setup and do some calling?

Do you setup down wind or up wind? What if you cant make it an ideal setup what should you do

ideally  downwind from where you expect the dog to come from and try to be in a position I can see a couple hundred yards. so if they do come in from downwind you will most likely get a shot before they smell you.if it's to brushy for long range visibility just wing it and always have your weapon ready to shoot with the least amount of movement possible.I call them to within 10-15 feet of me all the time sitting in sagebrush. once I had a bobcat slide up on a rock right beside me and I could have  reached out and petted it

Yes i am but i didnt bring it out here yet since i dont have a safe here for it to live in yet
