I'm trying to work up some accurate hunting loads for my T/C Venture rifle in .243 Winchester.  I would like to shoot a Hornady GMX, Barnes TTSX, or Nosler Accubond Bullet.  Anybody have a favorite load they would like to share ?

Thanks.

I use Ramshot Hunter at 46 gr. and an 85 gr. Barnes TSX bullet. This load shoots very well. I have also used H4350 with good results.

My Remington shoots a 100 grain Nosler Partion very accurately and the velocity is over 3100 ft/sec. I load 47 grains of IMR 7828 SC.

Not using those bullets. I've always used IMR 4350 and Hornady 100 gr. Spire points in the 243 because that is what I had on hand. That combination works in the 6mm Rem too. If I was starting new, I'd give Reloder 17, H4350, H4831SC or something from Ramshot a whirl and see what I got.  Not that there is anything wrong with IMR 4350, just that the ones I've listed meter better and are less sensitive to temperature changes.

Like Dale I do not have a load for those bullets. I load 43.5 grs H-4831 under 100 gr Sierra SBT. Same load shoots great (under MOA) in the two .243'a I own and my friends riffle. Not sure exactly the groups my firend gets with her rifle but I remember it being under a MOA or we would have experimented with other loads. In my rifles I get .75 MOA with the one and an honest .5 MOA with the other.
