Into my second year of re loading .

Last christmas my wife bought me a die set that you do not have to lube the shells.

When I put the shell in and pull it down it does push out the used primer, but it will not resize the shell. I can push a bullet in and pull it out by hand of the shell. There does not seem to be any adjustments I can make.
Help,

Joe Termite

Assume your talking about carbide pistol dies !
Just think. If we weren't different, you'd be just like me !

Joe,  If these are carbide pistol cartridge dies you should have 3 dies a decapper, a sizer/mouth belling die and a seating/crimping die.  Check you set up instructions because you need to set the dies for your press.

I am reloading a .300 win mag rifle. Two dies came with the set. One to take the primer out and size the shell, the other to seat the bullet.

Just looked up what I got for christmas from Cabela's.
It is a collet two size set. suppose to only resize the neck with no lube required. Problem the bullets fall out of the neck or fall into it as the neck is not tight enough. Have tried it all the way down in the press and every where in the middle.

Hope this explains what I ordered or Cabela's item number XN 21-0543  #738

This should help you adjust it.
