I have been looking at getting a new red dot scope for my Encore and have found several different types that say they are for shotguns and muzzleloaders but then say that they are shock resistant to 1000g.  How do I find out if my muzzleloader is under 1000g?  I have looked for info on the web but haven't found any.  Thanks for you help.

Don't worry about. It's mostly a marketing ploy. 'Our scope is tougher than theirs'. BOTH are tougher than you.
