Hey everybody! Just looking at some ads for this gun. They claim it's the fastest autoloading shotgun in the world. 12 shots in 1.442 seconds. That is crazy fast! Does any of you own one or ever shot one? I'm just curious as to how accurate their statements are. I don't think I can pull my trigger finger 12 times in that amount of time!

I like Winchester shotguns but not too familiar with the newest semi-auto. I've seen people at the range with them and seem pretty satisfied. My brother bought their newest pump which is really nice. There seems to be a lot of good quality semi-autos out there, I would look at a few in person before purchasing, see what feels right. Oh, and the 12 shot magazine is for those trick shooters. Pretty amazing!

Leslie, they are very nice guns, and are manufactured in the same plant as the new Browning. All things being equal, I personally would kill for a new Browning Auto-5, but then, I've always liked the "hump back".

I have a buddy who has one and he loves it but he said you have to keep real clean or its gets the hiccups and won't cycle rigth

Ron, I wonder if those new A5's are as good as the old ones? Those old models are as good as it gets. My Grandpa had one and he passed it down to my dad. I'm next in line!! That camo SX3 just might be my next gun though!

I have one of the old Belgian A-5 models, but this new version is supposedly vastly improved. Twerth, just bought one about a week ago, and from all indications the only drawback is it won't accommodate 3 1/2" shells.

WOW! I cannot believe they didn't chamber it for 3 1/2 shells! I don't own a shotgun that accepts 3 1/2 and frankly, I believe 3 in. would always be more than enough for what I do. But If I were buying a new shotgun, I would definitely want a 3 1/2. Just so I would always have that option if I wanted it. I bet it's still an awesome gun though! If you ever get one, let me know and I'll come run some shells through it sometime!

He said that when he's goose hunting and needs the 3 1/2" he'll just use his Versamax. My Mossberg 935 handles all three sizes, and I've killed two deer running together, on two different occasions a over 98 steps with it when loaded with 3 1/2" 00 buck and the full choke tube......but then I missed one at less than 10 steps with it also.

ternera, that's why I removed the full choke tube and replaced it with the modified, something I've done with all of my deer hunting shotguns, including the Beretta that Travis uses.
