I am looking for recommendations on guides for a Wyoming antelope hunt. It will be my first, but the biggest thing is that it will be my wife's first hunt ever and I want it to be something that she will always remember. Thank you for help in advance.

Beats me----never hunted WYO with a guide for Antelope or muleys.....got a BLM map or two and hunted public land....did knock on a couple doors and paid a very small "trespass fee".....good luck!

I agree with Tom. Never used a guide to hunt in Wy. Plenty of antelope to hunt. Do a little homework and save your money.

There are many good outfitters/guides. I have not used one for antelope but if I was looking for one I would google some up and start checking their referances. The club also has a list of outfitters used by club members. I would also google outfitter reviews.

Good luck..

I've seen at least two in this forum. Check out the Guide and Outfitter thread.

Like others, I've never used a guide for WY. Lots pf public land and lots of antelope to hunt. If you blow one stalk, there is another herd somewhere close. I hunt over by Farson in unit 91. Almost the entire area is public land and they usually have lots of reduced price doe/fawn tags. Many times I've had a buck tag in my pocket and a couple of the reduced price tags as well. Plus there are a lot of Sage Grouse in the area.

I've never really understood why so many people think they need to hire a guide to have a quality hunt in the west. I've never used one and I've hunted in over 10 states.

Hi Tom,
Looking to take my teenage son and daughter to Wyoming for an Antelope hunt.  What parts of Wyoming are you familiar with?

Thanks,
Jay
