OK folks I'm asking for assitance here.
I am moving my brother down to Missouri from Wisconsin due to his failing health problems. He has been a avid hunter and fisherman
for most of his life but his dibetese has gotten the best of him. In Nov 2010 he had his lower left leg amputated and had failing health
problems since then.
He can still get around some but can't walk a great distance. He does have a wheel chair and vehicle. I've made arrangments so he can fish the small lake located near my house and he has a boat so his fishing is taken care of. What I'm looking for is a location close to our home where he can hunt without having walk to far. He will probably qualify for handicap hunting permit but his mobility is limited as well as how long we will be able to be in the elements. We live just east of KV of I70 and can travel some distance. We have family in Springfield so he can stay there if something is available down there.
If I find a place for him to hunt and he is successful my son, father or myself will be there to help in the field dressing and processing. I'm just trying to give him a pleasent memmories to carry him through his last few years. We are expecting him to start kidney dialisis in the next year so to say he is healthy would be a lie.
I thank you in advance for any assitance or advise you can give me.
