I am looking for someone to go Bear hunting with. I have Muscular Dystrophy and my wife isn't able to go hunting with me and she doesn't like camping. I am still planning on going hunting but, thought I might make a post and see if anyone would be willing to come along and help me out. I have a '73 bumper pull camper and the heater and stove works. I also have an ATV for getting around with. If you would like to get out of town from Thursday afternoons thru Sunday afternoon I would love to have you along. The only real help I need is if I end up shooting something, I would need help in dragging to a point I could get it with the ATV. My Muscular Dystrophy is getting worse and it's tough to even lift 20# now but, BY GOD I'M GOING HUNTING!!! If you are able and willing please get ahold of me. I try to go hunting every weekend available and I have Friday's thru Sunday's off of work and working part-time I get off of work on Thursday at 2pm and usually leave that afternoon. Thank you.

mtpete id would like to help you out and go bear hunting (can i get a tag ?) but i live in tn, and just loading my gear and going just for a weekend would be tought for me once im in the woods i need more time to take it all in lol. if you plan on going for a 4-5+ days are more let me know i would love to help you out on your hunt and if i can buy a tag that much better, just a side note im planing on going bear hunting here in tn, and been looking for a hunting buddy to do it with so maybe we an talk and get togetter. pm me and ill give you my #s look forword to talking with you.

Ekinker1, Thanks. I am planning a trip for elk in September from the 2nd thru the 11th but, I don't think non-residents can get tags now. I think they have to be in by May. Also, after my bear hunting adventure I sold the camper cause I couldn't get a few things to work (plumbing and found the roof was cracked) also after being able to fire up the furnace at home I couldn't get it going on that trip. I would have been better off in my tent. My wife told me to sell it and not this year but maybe next year or so I can get a different one that everything works on. I'm also planning a trip for November 18th thru 27th. If you happen to get out this way let me know. I'd like to meet you.
