Anyone know how to contact the Webmaster?  Every time I switch to a new page, the site always takes me to the very bottom of that page, and I have to scroll up to the top.  This isn't so bad if I've been keeping watch on a particular thread because it takes me to the latest post, but it happens on every page, even the home page and the forum topic selection page.  It's getting really annoying.  Has anyone else had this issue?  Is there a fix I can do myself, perhaps by using a different browser or something?  Thanks!!

I'm not the webmaster, nor do I know how to contact the webmaster, but let's see if this might cure your problem.

Up in the top right hand corner of the forum pages click on "My Settings". Once your settings page opens, select the "My Preferences" tab. Go down to the third selection "Jump to first unread post" and make sure the box beside it does not have a check mark in it. If it does, click on the box to remove the check and then save your settings.

If this doesn't fix the problem, so sorry, we'll try again.

In case you haven't figured out by now, the only time a webbie get's involved is to A) promote some of the companies BS, or B) act as a censor on the site. We used to have a good webbie here, but he's either gone or been corrupted.

If the above suggestion doesn't work, you might try sending a pm to Web Editor Josh.  The easiest method would be to go down the page and see where he posted a thread "win free admission"  in the "hunting events" forum, open the thread, and click on the envelope symbol under his avatar picture.

I had the same issue until I saw your post, and grandpops reply.  Try it.  I tried it.  It works. Only problem I had was. It put the last at the top. I redid it again.  It came out right the second time.

On the "sort" options at the top of the page, Is it selected to "Oldest First" or "Most Recent First"? If it's selected for "Most Recent First", that could explain why it put the last at the top.

Did you save your settings after making the changes?

Good Luck

I duplicated your settings, Holly, and I still have the same problem. I tried setting Windows to compatibility mode, but that didn't work either. I'm using IE9 and tried Google Chrome with the same results. I'm out of ideas.

Sorry, don't have any more ideas. I'm rumming IE9 on my home computer and Mozilla FireFox on my work computer. I'm not having any problems with either one at the moment.

Hey guys,

I just discovered something new. I typically run Norton 360 with Identity Safe, and I always log in to that because it saves all my site usernames and passwords and makes logging in easier. Well, I got to the huntingclub site and forgot to log into IdentitySafe, and my problem went away. I logged into Norton and the problem returned. Something within Norton 360 is causing my problem. More to follow...

Norton's great, but it has it's problems, like everything else.
