ok, so as some of you know; I've admined a few boards in my time and I was a software tester at IBM for 38 years. That just indicates that I'm naturally curious.
So.... I'm on the Home page here and I see the "Upgrade to Trophy Member" graphic. It appeared to be selectable, so just out of curiosity to see what the terms were, I hit it. Nothing happened. Tried a few more times, nada... ok - I hate IE
but I figured maybe that widget wouldn't work with Firefox so I brought the Home page up under IE
and it still didn't do anything.
So I sent the club a note saying just what I said above.
About 2 hours ago I get emails from the club in response to my note just saying that the widget was busticated. They said they were sorry the widget didn't work and had "upgraded" me to TLM and I'd get billed in a few weeks. WHOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAA Tonto!
I sent them back several notes only to receive the automated "your email has been received" crapola.
So I figured I'd call 'em and straighten it out.... Guess what... on the new and "improved" site that we have here there's no phone number that I can find.
This should be interesting... I sent them another note saying all of that I didn't want upgraded, to reverse anything that they had done, I was logging all of my sent notes as well as the replies and was not going to pay for any upgrades, period.
We'll see...

Congratulations on your change to TLM status. If you were wanting to throw some money away, you should of said something, I'd of let you throw some my way.

Thanks Jeff, That is a valid number. In theory the transaction has been cancelled. We'll see.
While I was there, I told them that the number doesn't appear in the contact info any more.
