Well, I finally got something to test ( this week), after 34 years of membership, so LasaterRik, you were well ahead of many of us! Remember, there is/was no promise of getting a test item, just the promise of possibly becoming eligible for something to test if a product came up that fit your profile, and you were lucky enough to have your number drawn. With over 850,000 members, the likelyhood of getting picked is constantly decreasing.

What did they finally send you?

RT good for you hope it is something you can use.

It's the CRKT "spare tool". It has aknife on on end, small pry bar, wire stripper, bottle opener, ruler, hex wrench and screw driver points all in one single bar. It also has a kydex sheath to go with it. As is the case with all CRKT items, it is very well made, and the knife blade is razor sharp. It doesn't have much application for hunting or fishing, but it can be helpful with minor repairs, and removing old targets at my shooting range.

I bet the feature you use most is the bottle opener esp if quail is around.

Oh I don't expect to get stuff to test but once in a blue moon. Was being sarcastic to that Gene feller.

Columbia River has never made a bad product, atleast nothing I've bought or sold through them.

I picked up the T/C Venture I won in June.It only took 5months but I have it.Gonna try to get a scope on it tonight so maybe I can use it next week! But I finally have it.

Just got back from the range,This gun shoots real nice.Shoots clover leaf groups at a hundred yards.My only gripe would be the magazine its very tight to come out and the darn thing is plastic.But all and all nice gun.

PVIGILETTI, I would imagine that the magazine will loosen up a bit as the gun gets used more. I thought I read that the mag was made of composite materials for lightweight purposes. Anyhow, several companies have gone to plastic and composite materials without any problems. My M&P 15/22 has plastic mags, and they work extremely well. Good luck with the gun, and I hope you get to kill something with it very soon. BTW, what caliber is it???????????????

Sorry Rt its a 30-06.I asked for either 308 or 30-06.I'm sure the mag well loosen up as i use the gun.Lets see.I am gonna take it next week for the NY gun opener,so maybe the wait well be worth it.

Yep.  If everyone in the world agreed on everything it'd be an awfully boring place. And to not be able to voice differences of opinion is just plain ridiculous. Exchange of different opinions is always a good thing as long as it's done in a reasonable and non-threatening/abusive manor.

Love those discussions on here .That is part of being on here .We dont always agree but walk away friends .And we do talk about hunting on here as well .And many other subjects .And go back to the fishing club as they don't have any fun .

Just stay away from the Gardening and History clubs. The Gardening club items are even more chintzy than the NAHC stuff, and the History club probably teaches revisionist versions!!!!!!!!!!

Did take out a 1 year deel in the home improvement part .They did send some stuff to test .Just cheaper versions of items I already had .

And the books they tryed to sell you could be bought cheaper at home depot.

mwalton, let me assure you that people do get banned on this site! I've been banned and there are several others who are no longer here because they were banned. Usually, it's caused by some rat hitting the "alert" button on a post. As a matter of fact, we've even had entire threads deleted for the same reason! I also know one particular member who was banned, and although later reinstated, refuses to come here again, but someone has used their username just recently. Bottom line is, posting your member # can lead to impersonation and abuse, and if you post something that some lame azz individual deems offensive, you can be banned and often without warning!!!!!!
