Golden Scrape is a 4oz. bottle of scrape scent that works for up to three weeks and  does work . I used it in their Mag. Dripper over a mock scrape this archery season and man did I see the bucks this year !

Doesn't hold a candle to VS-1 by Conquest Scents.

The best I have found is found at http://www.bordercrossingscents.com and they are the first to gather the urine from one individual doe in estrous whereas others gahter the urine from a group of does in estrous and then bottle it. It is more expensive but I have been using it for about 10 years now and it works great and not just for bucks but I have had many does come to my scent dripper and add to the mock scrape I start each time I hang a dripper. I do have to save a litle each month after hunting season in order to buy for the next year but like I said it is the best I have found.

Big Dawg, border crossing scents company  has been purchased by Conquest, and they can now be found at both sites, as well as at the Boss Buck site, and also are now sold at BassPro Shops. VS-1 is the stick form, and they also offer the deer herd in a stick variation which is composed of actual deer dander.

We don't use all that crap where we hunt .It id all migratory .Saves me money to .

RT I did not know they had changed hands but I do know that the original stuff that comes in a glass bottle packed in it's own little packing is great. I keep mine in the basement refrigerator when not using it. I do see they have a number of new products but I will stick with the original. They are the only company to get the urine from individual does in estrous which I feel makes for a better product rather than gather and have it run into one bucket from a group of does in estrous during the day. By gathering it individually and bottling it immediately at the time it is the freshest makes more sense to me. Like I said it is a bit pricey but it does work better form me than any other stuff I have tried through the years. I use the Magnum Drippers and usually just leave them hanging after the season and then when the next season starts I simply fill the dripper and the deer start using the scrape after 24-48 hrs after the dripper had been doing it's job.

It's neat to see a buck when he gets a whiff of that VS-1, doe in heat product. They will curl and lick their lips, cock their ears, and start drooling, while providing a perfect shot opportunity. Three of my best bucks taken off of my place, were victims of it, and all three dropped dead with neck shots at 40 yards or less..........DOWNWIND!!!!!!!!!

I also use Tink's and have for years and have it in one of my drippers.

I've tried Tink's many times over the years, and for some reason just never had any good results, same for Code Blue.

Seems like you just have to get them when their head's just right . Had a buck stop in his tracks at about 70 yds. once , throw his head up curl his lip and come right in with code blue . So that says to me they can smell it a ways off , yet other times they walk right past a scent trail or wick that's feet away or even on their trail and don't follow it .

Maybe it's a situation where they are on the trail of the real, live thing!!!!!

Spent many $ on scents, scent remover etc, I now just play the wind and hunt where deer are. Did anyone ever figure out how many deer they would have to have to produce all these scents?
