Well, looks like the wind is blowing south for me, found my dream home a place I plan to buy and see myself living there till I die, its in Southern Indiana, 34 acres, wooded, backs up to National Forest, 4 bedroom, 4 bath, 2,100 sq feet manufactured log cabin siding, three car garage with extra sleeping rooms, a detached 3 car garage insulated with full bath and wood heated, plenty of deer and turkey, will rent to own for 2 years then purchase with my VA home loan, going to look at it Saturday with the kids...I'm gonna call it "Hilltop Labrador Ranch"..will be inviting my future brother in law out for hunts and friends....its everything I'm looking for, no more wasted money on rent or laying in the dirt to work on my projects...I'm pretty excited...

Saw the house, everything I expected had to do the legal paperwork on Monday, of coarse the idiot Agent put the wrong proposal in so had to redo the proposal, which the owner didn't say no to the wrong proposal just confused, so then the owner was in a meeting all day Tuesday so hoping to hear something today I feel comfortable the owner will accept, he has tiull the 28th to accept or decline, suppose to take possession 60 days from acceptance, so been praying like all, man their were some huge hoof prints and gresh right on the property and the view was goergous....

Gotta love it...during my 1st home closing the bank attorney had a fit because I initialed the pages JSB the way I have for umpteen years. Well, he said, the signatures on the paperwork don't have your middle initial, they have to match! I'm like, you're breaking my stones over a letter?? Do you want to sell the house or not??? Always an adventure!! Welcome to home buying....keeping my fingers crossed for ya!!!

Got the e-mail today, owner agreed to terms, Agent preparing the new rent to own documents should have them Monday to sign and then fax them back to finalize everything, probably move in April 1st, I believe they are giving the current tenant 60 days to get out....I want to move like yesterday, got plans and work to do....
