 | wweeks11 rthomas4 How long does it take them to approve someone? about 2 months ago | | rthomas4I'm not sure I understand the question. For facebook, and StuffStuff, all it takes is a few minutes to fill our the registration, no approval is required. To get a test item from SS, you just pick 10 items based on your point totals and then it might be a week, a month, a year, or a decade before you get picked to test something. Oh and if you're talking about the new Friendly Hunter site, it takes Paul 24 hours or less to get new registrations approved.

RPOWELL Anything This is more of a complaint than anything else. Let me start off by saying, I joined this club many years ago when it was the north AMERICAN hunting club and the north AMERICAN fishing club. It has since turned into the give me your money and ill send you unwanted made in CHINA crap to purchase or test. THIS IS NOT WHAT I SIGNED UP FOR!!! I am an AMERICAN and I want to see products made in the USA. As a premium member I expect more than this from my club. I have spent alot of money so as to keep my club AMERICAN!! I have recently sent a set of knives back to the hunting club headquarters that were made in CHINA and I hope I never open another package in my home again unless it contains products made in the USA. I honestly dont know if this will be read by anyone that cares but it had to be said and I dont know what else to do as I dont do computers very well. Thanks for reading my soap box rant. | morningbear holly My last hunt bagged a fat rabbit in our woods for supper with my Crossman .22 cal pellet gun, just before it blew an o-ring. That was 1984. I mostly went on camera hunts of elk, buffalo and prairie-dogs. I use a wheel chair to get aroung and must use oxygen at altitudes over 1000 ft. I hunted people for a living with Oklahoma Child Support Enforcement for 23 years. 1976 to 1999. I zero my .45-70 gvt. rifle as often as I can though I hav not been up close and personal with a moose since 1968. I sure'd like to reach HHH, which is my spouses Indian (p.c.: native american) name--Hides her head. about 3 months ago | | hollySorry to here about your problems .Just thought I would put it here .And they do have a website if you wish to take a look .Its hunters helping hunters .com .And donations are welcome any time .

plumcrazy247 michigan whitetails Michigan has the worst out brake of EHD in years over 2,785 deer as of 9/11/12 in 20 county's.
This is From MICHIGAN DNR WEB SITE
What is EHD?
o Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease (EHD) is an acute, infectious, viral disease found in wild ruminants like white-tailed deer.
- Where has EHD been found?
o EHD has been present in the United States for over 50 years now and no long-term effects on any deer herd have been recorded. Where EHD is more common, deer have built up antibodies to the disease. Michigan deer do not have the benefit of these antibodies. Losses may be severe, and while impacts on deer numbers are typically restricted to localized areas, recovery may take longer than has been experienced in other states. Large scale regional deer population decreases have not been observed.
o Die-offs attributed to EHD in Michigan have occurred periodically since 1955 in multiple counties including Allegan, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, Berrien, Cass, Ottawa, St Joseph and Van Buren Counties with an estimated total mortality of 2,150 deer. There is an outbreak on-going currently in Michigan (8/7/2012)
- How do deer get EHD?
o EHD is transmitted from deer to deer through the bite of a midge (small fly) called a biological vector. Transmission is not known to be possible through any other source. A deer must be bitten by a midge carrying the virus in order to become infected.
o The most common vector, Culicoides variipennis, cannot survive frost and dies come late autumn. Because of this, the disease appears during late summer and early fall (August-October) and ceases abruptly with the onset of frost.
- Can my livestock get EHD?
o EHD can infect domestic animals -- most commonly hoof stock, but rarely causes any disease.
- Can I get EHD?
o There is no evidence that shows humans can be infected.
- What are the symptoms of EHD?
o The disease has a sudden onset. White-tailed deer develop signs of illness about 7 days after exposure. Symptoms of the disease includ about 3 months ago | | |
