  • Bob Bojogrove I'm hurting badly. My private hunting of 100 acres here in Ohio, is coming to a end. I have hunted this place for 22 years and now the owner has sold the property to a Doctor. This Doctor is a hunter and I'm sure he won't allow me to continue to hunt because hunting is also his biggest hobby and his hunting friends. This property butts up again a Metro Park which is loaded with deer, turkey and my five stands are within a 100 yards from park fence. I have been a caretaker for this owner and protect his property for unwanted people, and now is all going away on June 1st. What a crying shame. I'm deeply hurting.

  • rlong21 I highly recommend hunting at the Ranch. It is a bit of a drive from Illinois, but it was so worth it. The hogs on the ranch are wild. There is no barn to bread hogs. The hogs are brought in from local trappers that remove hogs off local ranches. The holding area just outside the ranch is where they hold the hogs and inspect them to make sure they are healthy. They get one meal loaded with antibiotics and some other good stuff to ensure they are healthy and will not get the other animals sick. Once they pass inspection they are let loose into the Ranch. Here is the Ranch information: http://hoghuntingintexas.com/index.html All the information you need is on their website. I want to give a special thanks to Paul Candelaria the owner for putting together a nice and safe place to hunt. I want to thank Matt Candelaria for his putting together a great orientation and semi-guide service. Also, very special thanks to Travis Harper who put in the extra effort my last morning there to make sure this article ended with getting a hog. Travis worked hard and showed me some tricks on how to sneak up on hogs to get the perfect shot. Last, but certainly not least a thank you to the ladies that cooked our meals, the food was great. Thank you all again, Rob Long

  • cgriffith6 wweeks11- personaly I would have already taken her. The main thing you would be doing is introducing it to her, just remember she needs to have fun going. Take toys that she can play with when she gets bored.
