Killing Time

Aug 10

Are you one of those tough guys (or gals) who doesn’t shy away from recoil?

Frankly, I despise recoil. Each spring I cringe at the thought of firing my lightweight pump shotgun with a 3 1/2-inch turkey load; that’s why I stuff it with 2 3/4-inch shells. During a press event at the 2012 SHOT Show, country music star Craig Morgan (a military vet and avid hunter) unveiled a song he’d written to benefit Folds of Honor. It was the first time he’d performed “What Matters Most” to anyone, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
