I think the word "tragedy" spells out the news lately, and it has me thinking. First, I was shocked to hear the news late last week of the passing of a good friend of mine, James Guthrie, or "Guth" as he was known by many. Guth was a prolific writer not only in the hunting world, but also in the firearms community. He had a keen eye for tactical tools. When I mentioned his passing to my son, who's a tactical nut, he knew the name immediately ... as do many avid readers and TV viewers who have seen Guth in action on the tube.
