This is difficult to admit: Sometimes a firearm alone, or even a full arsenal, will not suffice for eradicating zombies and surviving the zombie apocalypse. When things get super nasty, you must be prepared for close-combat defense with a blade. Like guns, there are plenty of knives and uniquely wicked cutting tools on the market. The zombie hunters at Outbreak:Omega 5 carried a terrifying blend of zombie-slashing tools.

As usual, there was no shortage of weaponry at Outbreak:Omega 5. The Zombie Hunting Militia was strapped to the hilt. I'll reveal the Top 5 Secondary Zombie Hunting Weapons tomorrow and the Top 5 Zombie Hunting Guns this Friday, but today it's time to highlight the coolest carts that were used to haul all those zombie-killing tools around. 

With more than 20 unique Zombie Control Stages (i.e. kill zones) at Outbreak:Omega 5, you can bet there were some favorites among the Zombie Hunting Militia.

I'm pleased to report that, after an epic weekend battle, yet another zombie invasion has been contained. Initial estimates show volunteers for the Zombie Hunting Militia at Outbreak:Omega 5 numbered more than 1,000. Multiply that by at least 50-plus spent cartridges per hunter and you can imagine the scope of the firefight. It was intense.

Unlike most other war journalists, I was fully armed and managed to rack up plenty of enemy (zombie) kills. But when I wasn't taking head shots or avoiding zombie bites, I did my part to document the hair-raising events to share with you. Each day this week, Monday-Friday, I'll share a unique "Top 5" from Outbreak:Omega 5.

As you read this I'm preparing to slay zombies tomorrow, June 23, with hordes of other zombie hunters at Outbreak:Omega 5. Last year I helped to supress the zombie invasion, and let me say: It was a brain-busting blast.
