22Plinkster is a .22 trick shooter with a big following on YouTube. I first learned of 22Plinkster through someone else whose YouTube gun videos I really enjoy and have featured in my blog: Hickok45.

This video speaks for itself, and I agree—those candies do taste like chalk! But perhaps you share the view of the person below who wrote this to 22Plinkster:

“I have trouble trusting that these are done as easily as they seem. I mean, maybe he gets ‘em on the first or second try, and perhaps he is really a crack shot, and I mean no disrespect, but I just have trouble trusting things like this on camera. I need reassurance it was not done 20 times.”

22Plinkster replied: “I never want to come across as 'the best shooter ever.' My whole intention of doing trick shots is to prove that they CAN be done, that's all. I hardly ever get it right on the first shot. Sometimes it takes me 8 or 10 tries. I never want to be dishonest with any of my viewers. You can read the comments to every one of my videos, and I answer them how many times it takes me. No one wants to watch me try 10 times and miss. They want to see the shot and then go on their way.”

Pun intended: 22Plinkster is a straight shooter.
