OK, I stole that line from "The Laser's Edge"—a defensive handgun training DVD I produced for Crimson Trace last summer.

When Crimson Trace found out I was writing a book focused on training with a defensive handgun and that it would rely heavily on lasers, they asked me to produce their new training DVD. We spent 8 days at Gunsite filming the video with shooting experts including Todd Jarrett, Julie Golob, Michael Bane and several Gunsite instructors. The goal: Show the average citizen the importance of a laser sight on a defensive handgun and how to train with one.

"The Laser's Edge" is the most current and relevant video source available for information on the use of lasers on a defensive handgun. It covers topics such as practicing basic skills, target focus shooting, threat visibility and verification, shooting on the move and concealed carry. My job was to write the scripts, make sure all guns were handled responsibly and ensure all training points were covered and demonstrated properly.
