Jan 15

The North American Hunter team is wrapping up the first full day of SHOT Show 2013. We've already found a pile of awesome hunting gear to share with you. For full coverage, be sure to visit HuntingClub.com/SHOT13. Here are three sizzling new products that I found today.

Konus Atomic 2.0

The Konus Atomic 2.0 is a red-dot sight that weighs a mere 4 ounces. This sight can be mounted on high-caliber rifles, handguns or even smaller .22s by simply flipping the mount upside down. Retail price: less than $200.

Ameristep Razor

Ameristep came up with a unique hub design for the new Razor ground blind that allows for an 8-second deployment of this 8-pound lightweight hide. Retail price: less than $150.

Victorinox: The Outdoorsman

Known for their "well-guarded stainless-steel recipe" and Swiss Army Knives, Victorinox has taken a leap into the hunting market with this new knife called The Outdoorsman. It's their first heavy-duty locking-blade knife. Retail price: $79.99.

I would like to know if the red dot sight would also mount on a crossbow. The ground blind is very nice. I been wanting to get me a blind but I want easy to set up and take down.8 second deployment I would say is pretty darn good.To me you can't have enough knives.I have a outdoor edge.that blade is pretty hard to beat but for the price of this knife its got to be good.

I would like to have the kumos red dot sight to go on my rifle my be I can test it. Because I cannot afford to by it I am on a fix income, so i would have to test it.But it as been about 4months sent i test any thing. so until you'll put it on the field test all i can do is hope that one day, i might get to test it.that is just like a crossbow or a muzzle load and a tree climbing stand it will never happen.Sat. 01/17/13 1:22am Thank you, The Bugman12

I bought a ameristep ground blind and used it one time, it was too small at the peak and the rifle got hung up on the blind, by the time I got it all straight the deer were long gone, also any kind of red dot scope or other lighted scopes have a real bad problem in cold weather, the batteries go dead and so will your hunting trip, been there and done it.

Sure would like to do some testing on them products. I hunt thick woods so the red dot would be a perfect thing so the cross hairs dont blend with the twiggs.
