Looks like a good knife. I would love to have one. Definetly would wanna try it field dressing.
Friday, August 31, 2012 3:34 PM
I would love to see how much life is on the blade.
Friday, August 31, 2012 4:40 PM
Looks like it would get the job done with no problem.
Friday, August 31, 2012 4:52 PM
Gotta agree with Gordy, more tool than knife. Would be very interested in testing that "80% faster" claim. Deer season in NE Ohio is just around the corner!
Friday, August 31, 2012 5:22 PM
would love to watch the video but my computer tells me there is an error on the page. it looks like a serious piece of equipment and i would love to try try it, maybe i can see the video later.
Friday, August 31, 2012 5:29 PM
I got a lot a of knives but I dont have one like that!Thats cool!! Hope you pick me
Friday, August 31, 2012 6:27 PM
I have a buck knife. It is about 50 years old. I think that I have found it's replacement.
Friday, August 31, 2012 7:35 PM
Looks like an awsome knife , would love to try it on the coyotesdeer I get in my area. Would love to see if the knife could handle the delicate cuts on furring out a coyote.
Friday, August 31, 2012 8:14 PM
The Viscerator looks very efficient. I went to the product web page and watched it being used... It initially seemed not having at least one cutting edge on the outside of a blade would be a hindrance, but it looked great. Not only did it save time, less important, it appeared to do a nice job going through the pelvic bone - something I have always done when cleaning deer.
Friday, August 31, 2012 8:17 PM
Gotta have the knife to put it to the test! Go ahead and send it my way Gordy. Got some good Texas deer and hogs that want to help me evaluate its' abilities.
Friday, August 31, 2012 8:35 PM

Looks very cool would love to put it to work and Viscerat my early season buck hopefully it is made out of good metal and can be resharpened. Would have a hard time putting it in my Smiths sharper A++++ on the design
Friday, August 31, 2012 11:38 PM
I'm always looking for a better skinning knife, and I think this is it. Send it my way and I will be sure and let you know how good it really is!
Saturday, September 01, 2012 12:30 AM
Looks like a well built nice knife but I have an NRA Outdoors three in one folding blade knife that has field dressed, skinned and deboned four black tail deer and will still shave the hair on your arm without ever sharpening.
Saturday, September 01, 2012 12:44 AM
that has features my field dressing knife doesn't looks sturdy.i would like to give it a run.
Saturday, September 01, 2012 6:13 AM
Looks awesome, would make a good knife for any body of either sex to use.Would love to give it a trial and error. I just have one question though. You said the company is out of Wisconsin, but where is the knife actually made ? That would be a deal breaker for me if it was made in China. U.S.A all the way
Saturday, September 01, 2012 7:20 AM
looks kind of wierd to me.. I would have to see it in action. I like simple and that knife dont look that simple. I can skin and debone and average south georgia deer in a half hour or less in the tail gate of my truck and in less than 20 minutes hangin on a gambrel. I dont see how that knife your showing off is gona make deer processing any faster.
Saturday, September 01, 2012 7:29 AM
The Viscerator looks to be just the ticket to put my Wyoming Knife into retirement . It looks simple and uncomplicated , both qualities I admire .
Saturday, September 01, 2012 8:44 AM
I would love to have this knife i am a big knife and gun collector and this looks like the perfect knife for me to take hunting
Saturday, September 01, 2012 9:21 AM
For such a quality American made tool, I think Gordy should support American business and employment and buy enough of them to give one to everyone who posts on this video! Who agrees with me! :)
Saturday, September 01, 2012 9:54 AM
Looks like it's built to last. Looks like handle is riveted to metal that runs the length & with of handle. How do you sharpen it??
Saturday, September 01, 2012 9:55 AM
Nice try contenj!!!
Saturday, September 01, 2012 11:36 AM
This appears to be a well thought out and designed tool.
I have found, in field dressing deer, that field dressing with an ordinary hunting knife presents a injury hazard from cuts to fingers and hands (or worst) and this tool makes the job somewhat easier and much safer. The designer, Chris Stuckel, designed the knife primarily to avoid the hazards of cutting through the pelvic bone.
While I know that some people have developed the skill needed to cut the pelvic bone with an ordinary knife, not all of us have that surgeon like skill. This knife makes the job easier and it also makes cutting the breast bone safer and easier. The "Viscerator" is definitely on my "want list".
Saturday, September 01, 2012 11:47 AM
Looks like a good knife! The curved blade has
got to make skinning a trophy like xutting butter.
I have a lot of knives but a cool knife like this
Would realy look good in my collection.
Great product look forward to owning it.
Saturday, September 01, 2012 1:01 PM
I now use the "gutless method" made popular by Alaska F&W. website CD. Don't believe this knife would work well with theat method
Saturday, September 01, 2012 5:31 PM
At first Glance it is very odd looking. I do like that it has all the blade inside. I have had issues with regular gutting hooks on the back of a skinning knife catching if I get caught up on a rib or the brisket. I really like that this is set up so that you are pushing away instead of pulling towards yourself. I want to see how it feels in my hand, but it looks good and I really like that it has a leather sheath instead of a nylon one. If it holds an edge, and isn't to awkward to sharpen, it should be a graft tool in any hunting pack.
Saturday, September 01, 2012 6:55 PM
This looks to be more versatile than the knife with blade protector I use now ... I really like the handy case!
Saturday, September 01, 2012 9:33 PM
It looks decent it looks like it could stand up to the job but then again it may not be worth having I guess we will have to wait and see now wont we....but if its any good and that efficient I know of a few guys up here in Maine that may want one thanks Gordy
Sunday, September 02, 2012 4:44 AM
I would have loved to have that yesterday Kentucky Archery Season I laid a doe down. Looks like a nice functional Knife. Thanks for the short video
Jeff
Sunday, September 02, 2012 7:17 AM
Looks like an interesting knife, its always great to see new concepts coming out. I also like the fact that the cutting edge is less exposed its always nice to add another element of saftey.
Sunday, September 02, 2012 7:33 AM
I think its a great looking nife as well as durable and strong and it looks like a good quality Nife I would love a chance to try it out But $89.00 dollars is alittle to high of a price for me cause it seems kind of simple but then I have many diffrent nive,s and Ive paid good money for almost every one of them and I really would have to put that three in one nife to the test before paying that kind of money I also like the case it come,s with but like I said its another tool.Viscerator Nife, why do they call it that Lol Why not call it something like what its used for .redhaw2 Life Member N.Y State
Sunday, September 02, 2012 8:26 AM
Thanks for the comments, guys. I went on the website (fieldtorqknives.com) and came up with a price of 60 bucks. Looks like you can order directly from the website. He also has a skinning video if you want to see the knife in action.
Sunday, September 02, 2012 9:56 AM
Hey Gordy,
Looks very well constructed, and would really like to see it, in person. I have seen alot of knives come my way, durability, flexability, and sharpness are my major concerns. After several uses a blade tends to dull, I would really like to see how it retains it`s sharpness.
Sunday, September 02, 2012 11:36 AM
The knife seems like it would do the job required and maybe a little more. I would purchase this knife to give it a try and looks safety minded.
Sunday, September 02, 2012 1:23 PM
I would like 2 test my knife.
Sunday, September 02, 2012 2:41 PM
Thanks Gordy for cheeking out the real prioe for us and what ever else you could then the price is right ,andI was just saying to my Nephew how it would be a good nife for him and showed him it on your video inside the Box Lol. so I might be buying him one this year as a gift I usally buy him a good nife every hunting Season cause he don,t get to cause his wife controls the money in his House Lol and she don,t like us hunters Lol but thats her right But thank you again Mr, Gordy Krahn....I have so many nives Its really hard for me to deside on buying new one,se unless they are special I would rather test them first to see how durable and workable they are I don,t worrie about sharp cause I do all my owen sharping as long as the steel is good and the handle Have a great day Guys Love your inside the box Deal,s Some times you even make me Laugh.Always David New.York State Trophey Life Member
Sunday, September 02, 2012 5:11 PM
Looks like another tool for me to check out. To field dress is great but then you need another knife to skin and quarter. This might just be another "thing" to pack. I use the butt out tool and a 3 inch bladed skinner to do it all from a deer to a moose, field dressing to deboning. Would like to see it in action once though. Kinda neet lookin!
Sunday, September 02, 2012 5:21 PM
hardly ever see true advancements in blade technology only so many things you can do with a knife right maybe the tradidtional design isnt so perfect way out of box men love true ingenuity
Sunday, September 02, 2012 8:02 PM
looks like it will work very well i am going to colorado in november would realy like to try it on a elk.
Sunday, September 02, 2012 8:43 PM
I would love to watch the video but for some reason my computer will never load magnify.net's videos. I wish you guys would upload it on youtube so everyone could watch. other than that knife looks pretty good and looks like it would be a pretty usefull tool to pack along on them big game hunts.
Sunday, September 02, 2012 10:57 PM
Thats a sweet looking knife. Would make a great addition to my collection. Always looking for a way to dress that deer a litte faster.
Sunday, September 02, 2012 11:24 PM
Looking forward to the opening day for the handicapped season here in Kansas this next Saturday, I would love to try this on what I hope will be my first deer ever.
Monday, September 03, 2012 12:02 AM
Now that's a different knife design. My first thought in seeing it was how easy would it be to resharpen. I agree it looks more like a tool than a knife, but I would like to see if it's any faster than the ones I have used for years as I have found my kershaw and Gerbers are hard to beat for skinning and gutting. I have 2 Kershaw filet knives that I use for deboning and processing. Thanks for the chance to maybe try it out.
Monday, September 03, 2012 6:36 AM
Looks like a great idea.Would make a great addition to any hunters collection.
Monday, September 03, 2012 11:04 AM
I'll stick to my single edge fixed blade. It does a great job
on everything from deer to moose here in Alaska. As for
splitting the pelvis bone, I never do that until I have the
deer hung and skinned. With moose, we usually have some
kind of saw in hand, either a hand say or a cordless
sawsall!
Monday, September 03, 2012 11:16 AM
NICE
Monday, September 03, 2012 12:10 PM
I'd LOVE to have that knife. I think that would be easier than any knife I've ever used.
Monday, September 03, 2012 2:21 PM
Well guys no matter how or what we use the only way to know how it works is to etheir test it out or buy one and try it for ourselve,s and like any thing we use or try some things take practice and thow we all have our owen favorites its always nice to find and try something new that can make our hunting exspereince more better and easyer me I like anything that can make things easyer and less time consuming,But I am aptamistic on how it is to sharpin and how good and long will it hold the Edge.
Monday, September 03, 2012 2:51 PM
It be nice to try and see if it really works
Monday, September 03, 2012 2:53 PM
this looks like a sweet knife and i really want to get one.
Monday, September 03, 2012 4:42 PM
Well right off the bat, thats a pretty badass lookin knife. I love the 3 in 1 capabilities. Watched the videos, and he dressed the deer in the time the company boasts. It looks to be built very solid, I love the wood grain and on stainless blade. Im ready to try one.
Thanks.
Alex, Shaftsbury Vt.
Monday, September 03, 2012 6:03 PM
looks like a great quality knife i could use for elk and deer with no problem.
Monday, September 03, 2012 8:04 PM
I THINK I WOULD CALL IT THE CRAB CLAW KNIFE THAT'S WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE ALSO LOOKS LIKE A GREAT SKINNING AND GUTING KNIFE
Monday, September 03, 2012 9:17 PM
Looks to be a great knife, hope it is made in USA. I would love to be able to use it on my first hunting trip in November.
PS. Gordy, I love your screen saver on your computer, English Springers Spaniels are my favorite breed!
Monday, September 03, 2012 10:12 PM
Looks very interesting. I would love to try it.
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 8:18 AM
I think it's a win-win tool here for all hunters, the knife mfg. and NAHC also. I like the size of the handle/ to be efficient, this is one place size does matter. You keep finding good products to make hunting easier & more enjoyable. Keep up the good work. I would nick-name it The Mother-In-Law. Jake.Ll
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 9:42 AM
had to go watch the video somewhere else, looks like a good knife. wouldn't mind trying it out, though why carry 2-3 different knives into the woods
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 9:52 AM
WOULD LIKE TO SEE IF THE BLADE LASTS
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 10:06 AM
IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THE TRADITIONAL KNIFE BUT IT LOOKS HANDY.
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 11:32 AM
This year, we will be hunting a new property that is in desperate need of some management. Since we will be taking a bunch of deer, I foresee a lot of meat being donated to Texas Hunters for the Hungry. A knife like the Viscerator definitely has the potential to expedite our cleaning process. Let me know if it works as well as advertised.
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 11:49 AM
Common Guys You call this knife not me, it is a Tool and looking on it look like giant can opener .Its not the knife what due the work its a skills of the user .I see friend skin elk and de bone it with 3 inch folding packet knife with no problem .Good hunter portably use 3 good knives in his life .For me a knife its the" blade "and general use for it .This look like too with one or more use ,but please don't call this knife !!!!!!
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 11:56 AM
That thing looks awesome! I'm sure I can put it to good use.
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 12:05 PM

If Gordy doesn't send me this knife I'm going to buy one as I would have more than $59.95 into buying all the tools/knifes this one knife can do!
Please send me this knife Gordy! :)
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 12:11 PM
Definitely would try this knife. Looks like a good field dresser.
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 12:42 PM
Great design looks like it would be a great asset to any hunters field dressing kit.
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 1:01 PM
This is a unique knife/tool. My first impression was that this may be used for castration. I was in pain for a moment before I began the video. It would make a nice adition to my collection that is for sure.
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 1:20 PM
Well, here I am showing up late to comment on this knife. I don’t think I can say anything that hasn’t been said but I have to comment. This strikes me as a knife that will have so many more uses in the field then what is advertised. I can imagine uses for this knife from skinning and quartering game to striping the fletching from arrows to opening an actual can. I would think that this knife would be a valuable addition to any outdoor gear collection not just hunting. Gordy and a few others beat me to the punch on checking out the website. I was pleased to find the $60 price tag and the “how to” videos. Looks like a great knife and after all; you can’t have too many knives.
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 3:48 PM
Beiife knives for dng a cook I have knives for different purposes. I would sure love to put this one to the test1
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 3:50 PM
Sorry about that last post. I was just saying I am a cook, and have knives for different purposes. And I would love to put this one to the test!
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 4:11 PM
I am just going to say what everyone is thinking. This looks like something right out of the Klingon Empire’s arsenal. Maybe not everyone is thinking that but all of you geeks who like Star Trek (my self-included) that is what you were thinking. All kidding aside though if it works it would be a great tool. I say if because I have never seen anything like it. I would like to see what other designs come from this small startup.
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 5:28 PM
it looks have a U shape, like U get a great cut
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 9:17 PM
nice knife
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 9:44 PM
Gordy,I would like to have a knife that you felt would bring an eighty dollar price.I believe you know a little about your steel so I would also like to ask you about the other knife it looked like a side clip well builtif you would PLEASE COMMENT..
Thank You,
Dale Waters
Tuesday, September 04, 2012 11:50 PM
Looks like it could be a handy knife to have, if it does what it claims to do.
Wednesday, September 05, 2012 10:27 AM
After going to their website and looking at what they have to say about the knife, and watching their videos, it definitely looks like this knife is all that you say it is. I am curious to see how well it holds its edge based on the steel used because just looking at the design if you have to sharpen it many times in the field, it could prove to be more of a hassle than its worth, but that can only be proven by multiple uses of which I plan to do this season!
Wednesday, September 05, 2012 10:42 AM
The knife looks unique.I am always interested in differant types of knives. This one looks very universal and has my curiosity up as to what else I could use it for. Some one was thinking outside the box. Kudos to them.
Thursday, September 06, 2012 2:29 PM
Love the looks of the knife. I make knives to but this knife is a better design than I made. I'm going to order one as soon as possible.
Thursday, September 06, 2012 5:44 PM
Would be perfect for large game such as Canadian Moose I want one!!!! I've got a moose hunt coming up on Oct.8th
Thursday, September 06, 2012 7:33 PM
That is the strangiest knife I have ever seen in my life. I would love to see it in action.
Friday, September 07, 2012 11:56 AM
I would like to be able to hold it so see how it would feel the handle and blade contures kinda in a weird angle and I realy use a knife by the feel of the handle and blade. But who knows if I get a chance to use one I will be sure to give it a fare shake..
Friday, September 07, 2012 10:51 PM
What impressed me , was its ease of use. From splitting the pelvic and chest bone, to its use as a gutting tool. (Similar to the Outdoor Edge flip blade). Very unique knife!! Very Cool!
Saturday, September 08, 2012 4:13 PM
If it holds an edge; could work f/every N.A. species, w/ only a couple of accessories!
Monday, September 10, 2012 5:28 PM
looks nice, would like to try it my self.
Tuesday, September 11, 2012 6:39 PM
Looks like a combination of a military can opener on steroids and mom's seam ripper. Looks solidly built with a full tang.
Wednesday, September 12, 2012 4:03 PM
very cool looking blade but wondering about the versitility of it. personally, i dont think anything will ever top the standard traditional buck knife. From start to finish the standard blade gets the job done. One knife as opposed to two.
Thursday, September 13, 2012 4:23 PM
First impression: wow what a crazy looking can opener. But I took a look at the product site and a youtube and it became apparent why Chris chose the "can opener" design. It does the field dress two-step very nicely and efficently and you get your buck ready to roll quick. I'm impressed.
Friday, September 14, 2012 6:03 PM
It is a very unique and innovative design. I think it would get the job done!
Monday, September 17, 2012 6:56 PM
This knife looks like a dandy! I would love to try it out on some North Idaho Big Game. Feel free to send one my way and I will be sure to give it a fair evaluation.
Tuesday, September 25, 2012 4:11 AM
I have just watched the video,I was not wowed by no means maybe it's the way Chris worked, but it didn't look to save much time and in most cases it look like it was going to whip him trying to break the pelvis.I think in the right hands a person could make this work for him/her.
Tuesday, October 02, 2012 12:03 PM
I like the Viscerator. It seems to provide fluidity, with less nicking on your way through the hide. I like that 1 side is longer than the other. I think it's got potential.
Tuesday, October 02, 2012 12:36 PM
Having Arthiritis sure woul like to have one
Tuesday, October 02, 2012 1:06 PM
i have sever artheritis and this would be a godsend no more asking somebody else to do it for me.

This knife looks like it is well made and well designed. I checked out their website and watched 2 YouTube videos of the knife designer field dressing deer. It seemed to function efficiently and safely and it had very little trouble splitting the pelvic bone or the sternum. Their website listed the knife at $59.95 each with free shipping for orders over $100. If you bought 2 at a time and split the order with a friend it looks like a very good product for the money.
Tuesday, October 02, 2012 2:06 PM
Still can't see knife working
Tuesday, October 02, 2012 2:38 PM
cool knife. it looks like a winner.
Tuesday, October 02, 2012 3:26 PM
Other than the nice way it works to separate the pelvic bone I'm not sure this would be any better than a Wyoming knife.
Tuesday, October 02, 2012 6:20 PM
It looks and sounds like a great tool I would like to try out .The best part I like about it is it is MADE IN THE USA1
Wednesday, October 03, 2012 12:53 AM
Yes I like that to That the nife was made in the USA because I would Rarther Support our Country and when things use to be made over here they might have coasted more but They where built to last and they had good Quality and also had a garintee to them.now most things are made over sea,s and have poor quality and Bad workmen ship.
Wednesday, October 03, 2012 1:04 AM
Thats a good idea kharrington11, Your a smart thinker save a Buck and gut a buck Lol and far as it being a good product I think it might be a winner .And good Luck to all my fellow Life members and other hunting Club Members this Deer Hunting Season One Shot and be Safe.

I love it when I find a tool that does more than one thing! When I'm on the mountain, I like to only carry what I really need. This knife appears to fit that mold. If it will hold an edge, it would be a welcome addition to anyone's pack. I would love to check it out!

I`m from Ontario and I like the look of the knife. I think it would make gutting the deer easier. I could not watch video?? so it would be great to have it in hand to try out. I am a life member. # 40450401
Wednesday, October 03, 2012 8:53 AM
I think this knife is an ingenious idea. You can tell that the inventor of this knife put a lot of thought and time into the invention of this field dressing tool. It would bring me great joy to win this knife.
Thursday, October 04, 2012 12:49 PM
Looks like a very handy & versatile tool That any serious hunter would be proud to own. This knife would also cut down on the amount of other separate yet similar tools you'd need to lug up to camp, and keep up with. Bravo! Very nice design!
Thursday, October 04, 2012 7:34 PM
My hunting group always challenge each other as to quickness and cleanliness of gutting deer. I would love to have this tool on my side.
Friday, October 05, 2012 2:26 AM
It is a nice peace of quality Hunting Gear and all But I think I have enough Buck ,and other knives That even thow that is good for more then one thing Ill stick to what I have Some time,s making things easyer isn,t a good thing to do it takes out the Past traditions That we might like our children to Leurn If we make things to easy then hunting will become ,How can I put this You know how our fathers and Mothers seem to have always made comments like Well Back when I was your age we din,t have things so easy Well if you think back Worn,t things built better and din,t they last longer even Thou they may have coasted back then they were built to last.( I,m not putting This knife down I,m just saying If we keep making things easy Hunting will No longer be a challenge And Tack the excitement out of the hunt and the Sport of the hunt we will become just like the big commercial Farmers The Wildlife won,t stand a chance.
Friday, October 05, 2012 7:21 AM
Nice looking knife from the video, but hard to tell the quality. It seemed to look like like the blade was thick and heavy which is what you want when cutting bone for the leverage. I would like to see a demo video of it though before forking out that kind of cash. My biggest concern with the odd shape is how to keep it sharp.
Sunday, October 07, 2012 6:38 AM
I love the design and would love to try it out and see if it works as good as it looks. Bow season is in here and I think it may come in handy.
Sunday, October 07, 2012 5:59 PM
looks like the perfect tool to stop the cut of the stomach cavity.I could realy use one of these it would really help me teach my wife and kids how to gut there one deer.
Friday, November 23, 2012 5:16 PM
would love to try this 3 in one knife out. skin deer hogs alot and would love to put it to test.

I never saw a knife like this, it would be great for skinning, would like to try it out.
