The Viscerator looks very efficient. I went to the product web page and watched it being used... It initially seemed not having at least one cutting edge on the outside of a blade would be a hindrance, but it looked great. Not only did it save time,less important, it appeared to do a nice job going through the pelvic bone - something I have always done when cleaning deer.

Gotta have the knife to put it to the test! Go ahead and send it my way Gordy. Got some good Texas deer and hogs that want to help me evaluate its' abilities.

Looks like a well built nice knife but I have an NRA Outdoors three in one folding blade knife that has field dressed,skinned and deboned four black tail deer and will still shave the hair on your arm without ever sharpening.

that has features my field dressing knife doesn't looks sturdy.i would like to give it a run.

looks kind of wierd to me.. I would have to see it in action. I like simple and that knife dont look that simple. I can skin and debone and average south georgia deer in a half hour or less in the tail gate of my truck and in less than 20 minutes hangin on a gambrel. I dont see how that knife your showing off is gona make deer processing any faster.

The Viscerator looks to be just the ticket to put my Wyoming Knife into retirement . It looks simple and uncomplicated , both qualities I admire .

This appears to be a well thought out and designed tool.
I have found, in field dressing deer, that field dressing with an ordinary hunting knife presents a injury hazard from cuts to fingers and hands (or worst) and this tool makes the job somewhat easier and much safer. The designer, Chris Stuckel, designed the knife primarily to avoid the hazards of cutting through the pelvic bone.
While I know that some people have developed the skill needed to cut the pelvic bone with an ordinary knife, not all of us have that surgeon like skill. This knife makes the job easier and it also makes cutting the breast bone safer and easier. The "Viscerator" is definitely on my "want list".

I now use the "gutless method" made popular by Alaska F&W. website CD. Don't believe this knife would work well with theat method

At first Glance it is very odd looking. I do like that it has all the blade inside. I have had issues with regular gutting hooks on the back of a skinning knife catching if I get caught up on a rib or the brisket. I really like that this is set up so that you are pushing away instead of pulling towards yourself. I want to see how it feels in my hand, but it looks good and I really like that it has a leather sheath instead of a nylon one. If it holds an edge, and isn't to awkward to sharpen, it should be a graft tool in any hunting pack.

This looks to be more versatile than the knife with blade protector I use now ... I really like the handy case!

It looks decent it looks like it could stand up to the job but then again it may not be worth having I guess we will have to wait and see now wont we....but if its any good and that efficient I know of a few guys up here in Maine that may want one thanks Gordy

Looks like an interesting knife, its always great to see new concepts coming out. I also like the fact that the cutting edge is less exposed its always nice to add another element of saftey.

I think its a great looking nife as well as durable and strong and it looks like a good quality Nife I would love a chance to try it out But $89.00 dollars is alittle to high of a price for me cause it seems kind of simple but then I have many diffrent nive,s and Ive paid good money for almost every one of them and I really would have to put that three in one nife to the test before paying that kind of money I also like the case it come,s with but like I said its another tool.Viscerator Nife, why do they call it that Lol Why not call it something like what its used for .redhaw2 Life Member N.Y State

Looks very well constructed, and would really like to see it, in person. I have seen alot of knives come my way, durability, flexability, and sharpness are my major concerns. After several uses a blade tends to dull, I would really like to see how it retains it`s sharpness.

The knife seems like it would do the job required and maybe a little more. I would purchase this knife to give it a try and looks safety minded.

Looks like another tool for me to check out. To field dress is great but then you need another knife to skin and quarter. This might just be another "thing" to pack. I use the butt out tool and a 3 inch bladed skinner to do it all from a deer to a moose, field dressing to deboning. Would like to see it in action once though. Kinda neet lookin!

hardly ever see true advancements in blade technology only so many things you can do with a knife right maybe the tradidtional design isnt so perfect way out of box men love true ingenuity

Looking forward to the opening day for the handicapped season here in Kansas this next Saturday, I would love to try this on what I hope will be my first deer ever.

Now that's a different knife design. My first thought in seeing it was how easy would it be to resharpen. I agree it looks more like a tool than a knife, but I would like to see if it's any faster than the ones I have used for years as I have found my kershaw and Gerbers are hard to beat for skinning and gutting. I have 2 Kershaw filet knives that I use for deboning and processing. Thanks for the chance to maybe try it out.

I'll stick to my single edge fixed blade. It does a great job
on everything from deer to moose here in Alaska. As for
splitting the pelvis bone, I never do that until I have the
deer hung and skinned. With moose, we usually have some
kind of saw in hand, either a hand say or a cordless
sawsall!

Well guys no matter how or what we use the only way to know how it works is to etheir test it out or buy one and try it for ourselve,s and like any thing we use or try some things take practice and thow we all have our owen favorites its always nice to find and try something new that can make our hunting exspereince more better and easyer me I like anything that can make things easyer and less time consuming,But I am aptamistic on how it is to sharpin and how good and long will it hold the Edge.

This year, we will be hunting a new property that is in desperate need of some management. Since we will be taking a bunch of deer, I foresee a lot of meat being donated to Texas Hunters for the Hungry. Great design looks like it would be a great asset to any hunters field dressing kit.

This is a unique knife/tool. My first impression was that this may be used for castration. I was in pain for a moment before I began the video. It would make a nice adition to my collection that is for sure.

Well, here I am showing up late to comment on this knife. I don’t think I can say anything that hasn’t been said but I have to comment. This strikes me as a knife that will have so many more uses in the field then what is advertised. I can imagine uses for this knife from skinning and quartering game to striping the fletching from arrows to opening an actual can. I would think that this knife would be a valuable addition to any outdoor gear collection not just hunting. Gordy and a few others beat me to the punch on checking out the website. I was pleased to find the $60 price tag and the “how to” videos. Looks like a great knife and after all; you can’t have too many knives.

Looks like it could be a handy knife to have, if it does what it claims to do.

After going to their website and looking at what they have to say about the knife, and watching their videos, it definitely looks like this knife is all that you say it is. I am curious to see how well it holds its edge based on the steel used because just looking at the design if you have to sharpen it many times in the field, it could prove to be more of a hassle than its worth, but that can only be proven by multiple uses of which I plan to do this season!

The knife looks unique.I am always interested in differant types of knives. This one looks very universal and has my curiosity up as to what else I could use it for. Some one was thinking outside the box. Kudos to them.

That is the strangiest knife I have ever seen in my life. I would love to see it in action.

I would like to be able to hold it so see how it would feel the handle and blade contures kinda in a weird angle and I realy use a knife by the feel of the handle and blade. But who knows if I get a chance to use one I will be sure to give it a fare shake..

What impressed me , was its ease of use. From splitting the pelvic and chest bone, to its use as a gutting tool. (Similar to the Outdoor Edge flip blade). Very unique knife!! Very Cool!

Looks like a combination of a military can opener on steroids and mom's seam ripper. Looks solidly built with a full tang.

very cool looking blade but wondering about the versitility of it. personally, i dont think anything will ever top the standard traditional buck knife. From start to finish the standard blade gets the job done. One knife as opposed to two.

First impression: wow what a crazy looking can opener. But I took a look at the product site and a youtube and it became apparent why Chris chose the "can opener" design. It does the field dress two-step very nicely and efficently and you get your buck ready to roll quick. I'm impressed.

It is a very unique and innovative design. I think it would get the job done!

I have just watched the video,I was not wowed by no means maybe it's the way Chris worked,but it didn't look to save much time and in most cases it look like it was going to whip him trying to break the pelvis.I think in the right hands a person could make this work for him/her.

I like the Viscerator. It seems to provide fluidity, with less nicking on your way through the hide. I like that 1 side is longer than the other. I think it's got potential.

This knife looks like it is well made and well designed. I checked out their website and watched 2 YouTube videos of the knife designer field dressing deer. It seemed to function efficiently and safely and it had very little trouble splitting the pelvic bone or the sternum. Their website listed the knife at $59.95 each with free shipping for orders over $100. If you bought 2 at a time and split the order with a friend it looks like a very good product for the money.

Yes I like that to That the nife was made in the USA because I would Rarther Support our Country and when things use to be made over here they might have coasted more but They where built to last and they had good Quality and also had a garintee to them.now most things are made over sea,s and have poor quality and Bad workmen ship.

I love it when I find a tool that does more than one thing! When I'm on the mountain, I like to only carry what I really need. This knife appears to fit that mold. If it will hold an edge, it would be a welcome addition to anyone's pack. I would love to check it out!

I think this knife is an ingenious idea. You can tell that the inventor of this knife put a lot of thought and time into the invention of this field dressing tool. It would bring me great joy to win this knife.

Looks like a very handy & versatile tool That any serious hunter would be proud to own. This knife would also cut down on the amount of other separate yet similar tools you'd need to lug up to camp, and keep up with. Bravo! Very nice design!

My hunting group always challenge each other as to quickness and cleanliness of gutting deer. I would love to have this tool on my side.

Nice looking knife from the video, but hard to tell the quality. It seemed to look like like the blade was thick and heavy which is what you want when cutting bone for the leverage. I would like to see a demo video of it though before forking out that kind of cash. My biggest concern with the odd shape is how to keep it sharp.

I love the design and would love to try it out and see if it works as good as it looks. Bow season is in here and I think it may come in handy.
