Raising a newly built tower stand into position can be dicey, especially for do-it-yourselfers with limited equipment. But as this week's "Killing Time" video shows, where there’s a will, there’s a way.

When the deer stand goes past vertical and gravity raises its ugly head, pay special attention to the young voices in the crowd. I can’t help but chuckle when I hear one kid yell “Yeah!” at the top of his voice, followed by “That was awesome!”

It appears that cool heads prevailed, and no one was cursing—at least out loud. And I’m sure the deer stand stood tall and proud an hour or two later.
