'Inside the Box': Did You Win Free Hunting Gear?

By: Gordy Krahn

Jul 20

It's been a great first month for my new blog. The participation levels have been awesome and it's been a real "perk of the job" for me to unbox new hunting gear for everyone. To those of you who have shared comments—thank you, and keep it coming! If you haven't, you're missing out. Remember, I'll choose my favorite comment each month (positive feedback or constructive criticism) and award the winner with a hand-picked piece of gear that I've featured here, "Inside the Box."

To kick it off, this month I'm giving two products away. Did you win? Watch the video below to find out right now.

That is awsome that you gave multiple the products away, im sure those guys will be thrilled. One thing i think i will say that would make it better for the end user would be some real world usage of the product, it is nice that you explain what it is and how it is used, but it would be nice to see it in action, even if it is just turning it on, like the lights, or the power device. Just a suggestion!

As a life member for 12 years now I have enjoyed several great products, one a hunting knife I recieved just days prior to my trip to South Africa.
As the hunt progressed, I noticed my guides assistant staring at my knife and at the end of the trip I presented him with the knife explaining how I obtained it and about the NAHC. I received an email months later stating the assistant loves the knife and could not be more happier.
As a father to a 10 yr old son ready to start hunting I'm excited to see new products and introducing my son to their usages.
Look forward to many new evailuations and products from HAHC.

Actaully won a Etrex 30 this year from Gear Giveaway very surprised never really win anything. Cool item can't wait to use it during the hunting season. I like toys of all kinds, just retired and have plenty of time to play with them now.
Glad to see that they've taken steps to improve the field testers program, the old system wasn't working very well, and Inside the Box sounds like another way to hopefully add to some helpful tools with sound or negative feedback.

I think its great that some people are winning products and your program is interesting and helpful and is long over do. Keep up the good work.I will be looking forward to more of site. I haven't won any thing since i joined the club many years ago and haven't gotten any products for some years now to test but with the new stuff stuff program maybe it will work out better. In the beginning i did get some nice stuff to test but that was before i became a life member and since then nothing and i have been a life member for several years now im hoping that the change to stuff stuff is for the better so far i haven't seen anything except for a knife that interested me enough to apply to test

Gordy: Keep a close eye on Phil when he returns! As a long time Nevada resident, I can tell you for sure, what happens in Vegas DOES NOT stay in Vegas!! LOL

This is a great thing you guys are doing, but your mail guy is a little cheesy you could tone that down a little bit.

I have only been a member for a few weeks and I already love the program! one of my favorite hobbies includes hunting. Since this year bow season starts early in New York, I plan on weekends to Turkey hunt in the morning and Deer hunt afternoon with my dad. Since I live in farm country I am used to using second hand or old gear such as my turkey gun which is a Stevens Model 311A in 16 gauge which is older than me (I'm 12 turning 13 in September) and I use my Dad's Muck Boots which are falling apart. But huning is still fun. Its the adrenaline rush of shooting a deer or passing up 2 jakes that are 10 yards away so I can get a tom. nothing beats the feeling.

It would be great to be a lucky winner as long as the prize is not sprinkled with some kind of "Dust from Mars" that Phil brings back with him. Maybe while in Vegas he could line up a couple Outer space Hunts with Capt. Kirk.

I searched the Star Trex convention in Vegas and it doesn't start until Aug. 8th so would be a little early to be going out to Vegas for it... Anyways cool to see that you gave away two things for this month! Hope to see more things a guy never thinks of using for the outdoors!

I live in Molokai,Hawaii we hunt pigs and axis deer. The shops here don't have to much of a selection for hunting gear. So any chance to win free gear is very much welcomed.
