Winchester's Deadly Passion Preview: Mule Deer Madness

By: Melissa Bachman

Jul 16

This week my show title says it all: "Mule Deer Madness." You'll see two incredible muley hunts in Montana and Colorado on Winchester's Deadly Passion.

First, we head to Montana for my first-ever spot-and-stalk bowhunt for mule deer. There's definitely a little trial and error here, but you'll see me shoot an old, heavy-racked buck hiding out in one of the craziest places on earth!

Next, we'll head to Colorado where I set up on mule deer with a brush blind. I end up taking a trophy of a lifetime ... a mule deer with a unicorn point that extends right out of the middle of his head! Don't miss this action-packed show on the Pursuit Channel this week at 6:30 a.m. CST on Tuesday and at 11 p.m. CST on Friday.

Here's a preview:

Yet,your co hunter Mark Kayser seems to think that there are no mule deer left. That the Mountian Lion has decimated the herds by killing fawns, and does. I was Born and Raised In Big Mule Deer Country of Idaho, even with With the Wolf has not decreased. It's all about the mighty Dollar to the Sports hunter. When you hunt for survival and to feed families then you notice the difference. Not the Rack size. It's not news that the Mule Deer as well as the Elk are carrying a virus that is spreading throughout the species just like the Buffalo of Yellowstone have. So the best thing to do is blame the natural predators. They will make money on sales of permits generate revenue for our causes. As you said in your own words I quote" I am so excited their opening a season in my home state, excited to kill a wolf I've never killed one before." I hope It's a good meal for the family! Since a True Hunter Takes only what they Need. Not because they have never killed One! Many Blessings! Lenos. SpiritChild Shoshone
When we show our respect for other living things, they respond with respect for us.

We must protect the forests for our children, grandchildren and children yet to be born. We must protect the forests for those who can't speak for themselves such as the birds, animals, fish and trees
