I have not had the privilege of donning a Leupold scope on my rifle but I have spent many moments drooling over them at my local sporting good stores. There is a lot to be said for longevity. I would never think twice about purchasing a Leupold scope because I know that they have a long history of quality optics. I just purchased a pair of budget model Leupold binos and was impressed with how good they are.
Better then the scope is the effort to get people out to vote. I have always said that if you don’t vote you can’t complain. This is a great idea using the target and it will get people asking what you are doing at the range. I plan to get out and shoot mine up, register and make my voice heard.

I inherited a 6 MM with a Leupold 3x9 and the optics are very good. My other rifles/pistols have received Bushnells or Tascos due to my limited budget. I recently installed a Nikon 3x9 with BDC on my AR 15. I purchased this primarily for the BDC (predator hunting in Texas) and the ballistic software & app. The Nikon is adequate but does not come close to the Leupold. PLUS, with a name like Nikon, I doubt it is made in the USA!

I haven't had the opportunity to own a Leupold, but have heard nothing but positive things about them. They are the epitome of American quality and I can't wait for an opportunity to add one to my arsenal.
As a social studies teacher I love the fact you all are putting together a voting drive. It is extremely important for us as sportsmen and women to stay active politically to ensure our rights are protected.

I utilize the Leupold line of optics on as many of my firearms as possible and have nothing but good things to say about them. I also own the Leupold Katmai binocs and they are GREAT. I would love to get my hands on the new VX-R because as I am getting older it is becoming harder to see the reticle clearly in low light situations.

I don't think anyone could ever go wrong choosing Leupold optics. Yes, you can probably get better optics but you're going to pay an arm and a leg for it and it probably won't be all-american made either. As I've learned by experience cheaper is not always better either, in fact very rarely. So for all around good quality and service you just can't beat optics by Leupold.

I currently have over a half dozen Leupold scopes mounted on firearms, along with owning two sets of binoculars and a spotting scope of theirs (but who wouldn't welcome the opportunity to own another scope?). American-made high quality products like these deserve our business.

i do not own a Leupold scope or Bino's! I do own a pair of bino's that are Sworovskis !I got them give to me for doing a Fish for a friend. They are worth way more than the fish mount was. I had to send them in as it had a broken strap hook on it. they not only repaired the broken hooh but changed everything that needed to be looked at. awesome company and i would assume that Leupold is as good or better when it comes to standing behind there product!. I own a Bushnell 3x9 banner rifle scope that was made way back in the seventies. it has a BDC on it and works well. i have seen the newer ones and in my opinion this one is better quality. that is what i know about Leupold from my friends is the Quality is there. I am Disabled and do not make as much as i used too. so i cannot afford one of these expensive scopes unless i save for years lol. When i was in the work force strong i would have bought these. I always try to buy American when i can ! I would bolt this unit to my Remington Classic in 35 Whelen if i was to win it. This Caliber is way under estimated. But putting American Pride on my Gun instead of made in China would be a pleasure for sure!

I do not own a leupold scope but my son has two leupold vx scopes and they have great field of view and are very clear picture. the only scope i own is a redfield scope that i got from my father when he pasted away many years ago. the chance to own a leupold scope to put on my fathers old hunting rifle would be great thing to have.

Don't own any Leupold products yet but in the market for a scope for my Tikka .270 for this falls deer season! Definitely going to do the target shoot and submit a picture to try and win the Leupold VX-2 3-9X40 mm riflescope!

I have a few Leupold scopes on my guns and in comparison to the other scopes i have on my other guns, leupold out performs them every time. I have never had any issue with my my Leupold scops and they are crisp and clear when i need them to be. I have a 308 that i just got with an old Jana scope that i am looking to replace and I am sure that i will do with a Leupold to do the job. Great scops and i recommend them to anyone who hunts/shoots!!

I currently have an older Leupold 3-9x42 (yes...42 ...it is that old!). A new VX2 in 4-12 would be a great new scope!

I have own one 3-9 50 mm leupold on a ruger 7 mag for out west hunting with a life time guarantee and I can attest to it. Now that I am retired; I'd love to have one to place on a different rifle.

Wow. This looks like a nice scope. Did I say WOW. I have never owned a leupold but i am told it is one of the best made opticals on the market. It looks like it would go good on my 270 cal deer rifle.

Looks like this would be an awsome scope to invest in.

I would love to replace my cheap scope on my rem 270 cal. A friend of mine bought a used rifle with a leupold scope. The parrellax was off so he sent it to leupold to be fixed and told them he bought it used. A few weeks later it came back fixed with a letter, thanking him for buying their product and there was no charge for repairs. Since then he has bought only leupold products. It sounds like they back their products and thats what you want. Great shooting

I have an olcer leupold scope it's about 25yrs old and is still working great and is way better than my kasnar scope. my other scopes are bushnells but can't be compared to the leupold as they are electronic. Have not had any problems with the leupold while the bushnell's i had before the red dots all needed servicing by bushnell. That is why i went to the electronic red dots, i now have no trouble with the Im currently in the process of getting a leupold rx-1000 tbr rangefinder that i look forward to using for many years. I also have a leupold magnet bore sighter that i have had for many years and is an excellant piece of equipment and works very well and is used by other people i hunt with to bore sight their rifles and to check them during hunts if there is suspision that the scope my have been put off alignment leupold makes geart products and i think the new scope in your blog will be another great accessory for shooters and hunters alike

I have done research on the leupold vx-2 scope and would love to be able to put a good quality scope such as a leupold on my new .308 that I am purchasing for this up coming rifle season. I have never done much rifle hunting until last year and decided that I need a rifle. And a leupold would deffinatly be a great scope for thing rifle.

bugman12 I hope that I can win the Leupoid scope VX-2 3-9X40mm scope. Because all I have is a cheap scope from walmart, I brought about 5years ago, and let me tell you it is cheap. You can not see a deer with it unless it is daytime you can not see the deer at dawn or at dust, and that is true, and I can not aford to buy a scope like the VX-2 3-9X40mm scope because I am on SSD, I am perment disable, and all I get is a check from Uncle Sam, on the 3rd of the month. So I hope that I can WIN THE LEUPOID SCOPE, the VX-2 3-9X40mm scope so I really hope that I WIN the Scope. Thank you'll again THe bugman12 40410102.............

This scope looks top of the line without being a scope i would worry about getting dirty. looks durable made to last and above all the rest it looks acuratte. and its comforting to know your backed by leupolds engineers just makes this scope all the better.
Saturday, May 04, 2013 4:17 PM
